UPDATE: Day 11 of 12/12

Just wanted to post a quick update on my grow. It is day 11 of 12/12, and they are really starting to put off some smell even with the carbon filter. I'm happy to have that happen because in my experience the stinkiest weed is always the best! So the Ak-47 is about 40" tall now. That's about 20" that it has grown in a couple weeks time. That is some fast growth and quite a bit of stretch. I didn't realize when I planted the Ak-47 that it was a sativa dominant plant that was going to grow tall like this. It already has some small buds forming everywhere on the plant. And I can already see some trichrome formation on the sugar leaves around the new bud formations. That is a good sign of what is to come!
On the other hand I have my OG#18, and she is very short and compact at close to 20" tall. She was only about 15" tall when I flipped to 12/12 bout 3 weeks ago. That is hardly any stretch at all compared to the Ak-47's. It looks like it is going to be the slowest flowering plant that I have grown to date. It has some very small buds forming on top of the canopy. They are really small and barely formed so far. I can't see any trichs yet either, but she does has some pungent sour smell fuming from her.
I just gave my plants a hit of some bloom fertizer (15-30-15) for the first time yesterday. I only gave them 1/4 tsp of nutes mixed in my watering can. It looks like they took it without any signs of stress, so I will continue to feed them from now on. I don't like to use much nutes during my grows. I found with Miracle Grow soil and nutes that you don't need to use much anyway. Less is more has always been good advice to use for me.
Well here are the pics that I promised. Hope you enjoy!
The first pic is of both plants with the Ak-47 being on the left side and the OG#18 on the right side. The 2nd pic is a close-up of the OG#18. The 3rd pic is of the OG#18. The 4th pic is of the Ak-47. And the 5th pic is a close-up of the Ak-47.
