The seed wasnt germinating so i just put it about 1 inch in the potting soil.

Its about 80 in there I'm sure if that to hot and i just have a cup in there with water in it to make it a little humid.

Heres a picture of how far away the pot is from that lights. Is that good or should it be closer?

    Technically a seed doesn't need light till it breaks the soil. Also you wanted to place it 1/8 to 1/4inch deep. It will have a hard time at a 1inch deep.

    Can i just dig the seed out? Its been in there for a while now

    You can very carefully and slowly remove the soil on top of your seed to see if it's growing. Be very gentle thought, you can easily break something.

    I really dont trust myself digging through.. plus this is the last seed i have and i just estimated and 1inch it may be smaller.
