well first off great job!especially for a first time!and imo it appears to be showing some precursors for pistils.a closer up pic of the nodes would help alot though

If you start from the bottom and count upwards to the fourth node, that is the first place sex generally shows. Look right at the stem where the next leaves are coming out and there will be a small nodule there. It will either have a couple of longish white hairs starting out of it, or it will look like a pear with a pointed tip. #1 is a girl, #2 is a boy.

Boys usually show sex earlier than girls so if this is the last one to show, then chances are good it is a girl... post a visitor message on my profile if you get some closer pics and I'll give it another look.

Can't say for 100% but looks like a girl to me. You say she's an auto? You do know those play differently than other plants, right? You didn't say what your light schedule was or what the other plants are so that might be a factor too in why this one may be taking longer than the others.

Not that I have any experience with autoflower plants, but I have read many stories where one of the phenotypes loses the "autoflower" trait. As far as I can tell it does not look like a male but none of the pictures are showing me definite signs of either sex. What is your light schedule? If you haven't already, try taking it down to 12/12 for a couple weeks and see if that will take the girl(hopefully) into budding. That plant just looks too big for an autoflower.

hi am using 600 watt got them on 16/8 the now.i have sterted 4 differnt plants at the same time all ment to be ready between 8 -10 weeks.the other 3 are ready to be flushed int he next couple of days they have plent buds.just not sure with this one???

Jambo, the reason the plant is not budding is because it has unreliable genetics. I am willing to bet that the plant will not start budding until the lights are switched to a 12/12 schedule. Yes it was sold to you as an autoflower, but the fact is when the seed sprouted it came up with a phenotype that did not include the autoflower trait. It happens. search the forum others have had it happen as well.

Yup that third picture confirms that it is a girl, and it is starting to bud Nice man! Your plants look amazing for a first timer and even for many people who've grown multiple times.

Yeah I have been growing since last august or so when I got my medical card. Have 3 grows under my belt now! First grow was a single plant and ended up with 3oz. The second grow was 3 plants and ended up with only 3 oz. My first kid was born about a month into flowering and so I spent way more time with him than in my garden and didnt do a very good job keeping them watered. My third grow was 6 plants for a total of 7 1/2oz just this last month.

    I do an indoor 3x3 tent grow with a 400watt mh/hps light.

Currently I've got 2 plants big enough to go into flower but I'm kind of contemplating how exactly to finish growing them out. With the 400watt light I am leaning toward a scrog type grow since the 400watt doesnt provide that great of penetration. I just need to build a scrog screen and start filling it in I guess. I don't put my grow journal on this website any more because RIU doesn't allow you to delete content once you've uploaded it to their servers. Maybe I will this time around though and just find a different place to host the pictures.

I am also considering to switch over to a hydro grow and at least give it a try.

how you doing man, first off congrats on the bouncing baby boy. Im using 4x4 tent with 600watt and just chopped my first 3 plants and looking at between 10-15 ounce, will let you know when its proper dried out. If i was you i would look into getting a 600w and 4x4 tent in future if you can as you seem to be getting low yeilds not that im an expert lol. Will keep you up to date with the top69 its seems to budding now its on 12/12 thanks for that advice well appreciated. Hope my words can help you as much as you have helped me. Can you tell me what plants you used on your first 2 crops as i have a mate who starting out with same set up as you and he is eager to know what he can expect from his set up.

Ive heard that 600w are a lot better, but I meet/exceed my own personal needs and that is my only concern at this point in time. My first two grows were Purple Urkle. The last grow and this current grow im working with a low yielding strain anyways, but it puts out some danks!
