They usually look sad for a few days. I clone in DIY bucket cloners, soil they both are at like 99.9% for success. But sadness does happen in both. My soil clones are sadder longer but snapped out. The bucket cloners work mint.

    Pics help also kiiid

I hope you got at least one node on your clone. The mistake I made was to try and clone a fan leaf alone. It doesnt work, wasted a week before it finally died.

You should read this article by StimkBud.. If you build his cloner and follow his directions EXACTLY you'll have 100 % success in no time.

Many people go with chemicals to clone.. Or bubble cloners.
Me, i take a branch i want to clone. Lst it into a small pot filled with dirt. Put dirt over said branch. Make sure to water that branch that is covered in dirt. 2 weeks tops depending on enviroment, cut said branch from the mother plant. You have a clone.

You sould take clones when your plants are in vegative state.
You said "the flowers looked fine"
Its possible you will get these to root, however that won't happen til after the cuttings return to a veg.state.
I wish you the best of luck.
