The AZ MMJ Act protects patients against this.... If the AZDHS stops issueing cards and does not respond to your request... Your doctors letter of recommendation becomes your marijuana Card....
If at any time after the one hundred forty days following the effective date of this chapter the department is not accepting applications or has not promulgated rules allowing qualifying patients to submit applications, a notarized statement by a qualifying patient containing the information required in an application pursuant to section 36-2804.02, subsection A, paragraph 3, together with a written certification issued by a physician within the ninety days immediately preceding the notarized statement, shall be deemed a valid registry identification card.

Sadly the only reason the law passed in Arizona was because of Pima County and I think Pinal County. All of the other counties it lost. I think almost 60% of Tucson residents voted for it to pass. Tucson is a city of Liberals and Libertarians. Pima county (Tucson) swung that vote and this bitch is gonna try any way she can to slow it down or prevent it. I think it's funny. Because she can't win. It isn't going to be voted on again and if it did, the same voters are still going to go out and vote for it.

And AZ's medical bill passed by only 4000 votes. I felt like my vote counted in this election.

Just when FOLKs say their vote dont count... IT DOES.... I know of at least 30 potheads that did NOT vote... And I bet every pothead knows another 30 folks...

It is my opinion that 75% of folks smoke it and dont want to admit it because they are scared... Just a thought..

I agree with that. Imagine how many would smoke if they had access to it as well.
