I'll keep it short and sweet. Here's the pictures, have an awesome day!
Holy cow that 3rd pic... she's gonna end up being one giant pingles can sized cola! You should scour craigslist or amazon for another 150w, put them both at the same height that she is, but about a foot to either side. She'll spread out and develop her lower budsites alot more without growing too much taller. She'll grow towards the light so if you want to keep her height, you can use your one light on the side and just rotate her every few hours or once a day (regular intervals tho to light all sides evenly) If you get a ballast for your 1000w bulb you'll end up with a cola the size of a loaf of bread! she looks good!
Thank you for the advice, I didn't know what was best with my height situation. Not sure I can invest any more in lights this round but I'll look at the budget and craigslist. A friend has been out of town since she started flowering and he was in awe, made me feel awesome.
I put the light to one side of the tent and am rotating the plant so that each side is focused on for 6 hrs. There are still cfl's in there hoping that won't hurt anything as I'm focusing some on the seedling/lower parts of the plant. I love how she looks all snowy around the buds, closest thing I'll see to snow this winter .

That should work well if you put the Hps off to one side and use cfl's on the other so there's no dark side. It may suck having to be able to turn her halfway thru the light cycle every day, you could prob get away with rotating once a day if you cant do it every 6, but I think keeping the light lower and to the side will help keep her shorter and bushier I dont know about topping during flowering, Im sure you'd cut right through the top cola, no good. I just topped 3 of mine at about 6 inches, abt the 8-9th internode, they're loving it and growing like crazy now! Im the same with the snow here in the desert it'll still get cold but at least I dont have to worry about driving in it lol.
I know it's odd but I just wanted this one to grow as natural as possible, no topping, fimming etc. I'm working on some better ways to focus the light that I already have. I figure that she's gonna need a lot of time to grow those colas nice and fat? Just getting to the fourth week of flower.
Yeah I know its kinda counter-intuitive to cut your plants... I just thought right now that if you get a long sheet of aluminum foil you could curve it and post it up around the far side of her main cola to help get the angled HPS light onto the dark side, in addition to the cfl's I guess, or maybe put the cfl's lower for the lower buds and use foil on the top cola... just a thought. Since the less the distance light beams travel the stronger they are, If you move your reflective wall/surrounding closer you will be decreasing the distance the beams will have to go after being reflected. ... just remembered you're in a tent, get some wooden dowels for cheap at Home Depot and poke them in the dirt to hold up each side of the foil, like a sail I guess. and put that opposite the HPS sorry to be throwing so many suggestions at you, I get these macgyver ideas in my head and gotta share lol
This is what she's growing in when she was a baby with her brothers
Nice, I kinda wish I had a pre-made tent, would be so much less work. Its fun being creative and making your own though. I just finished my 6x6x3' flowering box tonight... stay tuned for a journal update
