Over the last week we migrated all plants to their final positions for flowering. YAY!!

The strongest of the 12 AeroFlo plants was selected as the new Mom, and was transplanted into a large recycled-cloth/plastic-fiber 'soft-pot', in a mixture of HigroMite and CoCo Coir. She's now on a simple recirculating drip-hydro setup, being fed once an hour for about 15 min (60min off, 15 on).

The next 8 strongest plants were destined for individual 2-gal drip-hydro growing pots as part of the General Hydroponics EuroGrower-8 system. It involves a LARGE 30+ gal resivor that the pots sit on top of. A pump, manifold, and drip lines provide nute solution via timed schedule. The return/drain is accomplished via a system of S-drains in the propriatary Bato buckets, which sit on a long drain rail with holes cut to match the Bato drain ports.

Heartbreaking as it was, we were forced to do some pretty serious root-tearing to get the individual plants out of the AeroFlo... The job is easiest with TWO people, so that each plant can be suspended slightly and the root ball supported as it's roots are separated from it's neighbors. We got the first 4 moved the first night and watched them to be sure the shock wasn't more than we were prepared for...this is how they were looking after 24 hours and 48 hours:

Finally we had 6 new clones that needed moving to the AeroFlo system (plus the remaining 3 original plants already in there). One of them was ready a little early, so we opted to move it to a G.H. Water Farm bucket....and she's happy as a clam!
