Good root base helps deliver nutrients to the stalk thick stalk gives a good pipeline for nutrients to go from roots to stalk , and finally leaves to store all that food for flowering. Think of nutrients as fuel and the roots and stalk are the pipeline. The biger the pipe (stalk) and pump(roots) the more you fill youre fuel tank(leaves) for that tasty big buds. Top youre plants instead you double the colas and you can clone youre trimming.

My next grow I am going to up my lighting from my little puny 70 w hps and cfls to a 400 w hps and probably still use the cfls for side lighting and I am thinking about going with some autoflowering Northern Lights or autoflowering Bubblelicious seeds from Nirvana Seeds for my next go around.
