so my single indoor trainwreck under a 400w hps is doing very well.. loving the extra attention, however i never had gotten any soil into the medium... i pretty much have had all three plants in straight vermiculite, then i added some soil to the mix for the Double Strawberry Diesel however never with the Trainwreck. now in its 7th week i believe i am running into a cal/mag def. which is easy enough to fix, mind you. besides the plant is approx 2-3weeks til harvest so im not sweating it too much.
i bought some Fiji water to pamper it for the last few watering cycles. to compensate for the 7.8ph with the Fiji water i am adding Moleasses, Hydrogen Peroxide (3% concentration), and tap water. our tap water has been reported to be some of the cleanest in the country so im not too worried about it. besides i have run 4 larger indoor grows with minimum 12 plants all fed straight tap/nuits with no prior problems.
last night i trimmed up the affected leafs from the cal/mag def. and gave it a splash of straight Fiji wich had both cal/mag. also put a 5 lbs. block of dry ice in there to evap during its beauty sleep. ill keep a status update and try to get some pictures posted but im still having issues with the upload, don't know if its because im a free member or what.
