okay so we're off,
3 tbs lime per 8 gallon pot
application of dyna gro, foliage pro, at full strength (5ml/gal)
1 tsp/gal molasses
5ml/gal silica
propane catalytic heater, running at VERY low, negligible heat, will run for 1 hour then test ppm, then test again at 6 pm, which is 2 hours before lights out. I only have 2 tests, so this should show me a rough idea of how it's going to work.

there was new yellowing this morning, but not as bad, as before, so we shall see. Although i think i'm on it.

I will repost after i take the co2 test.

    ok.

ran the heater from 9-12, and co2 concentration is just under 3000.

i will test again at lights out and find the difference.

Once you get the Ph test you will know if it's the water or not which will be a good thing. I often have a few leaves yellow and die off here and there as a part of the plants natural life cycle. As long as it's only a few leaves you should be fine. A nutrient lock out would affect more of the plant I think. Good luck and happy growing!

    right-

more than a few leaves, think lower third of the plant. I am quite sure i am having an acidic situation as per soil less medium, i should have mixed some lime in, and next grow will add more than that, in order for a more complete mix.

so i took another co2 reading before lights out and was at about 200 ppm, so the girls are using co2 at a pretty good rate. I think i will run the heater for 1 hour, 3 times a day. I do have another idea, which is to run a torch tip on LOW, so as to produce a flame similar to a candle, and run it all day, but will need a hose adapter to connect the torch to a 20 lb tank. It's 12.99 at the hardware and i will pick one up in the next 3 weeks or so.

in the meantime i have found 2, 220v intermatic timers for 35 bucks, so i will need those first, i have been working the lights myself, and am not very accurate.
