Medical grows

I will try to keep this updated as much as I can, I would like this for my own personal reasons and I guess just to be able to look back and see progress and maybe if I run into problems I can come back for info. Hopefully someone reads these and can learn with me or teach me or something.... I am on my 1yr anniversary for medical growing. I decided to start growing because I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and I opted to pass on the pain management program they advised which consisted of pain pills and steroids, really not my thing. To each their own! I had a small garden first time around, with 3 really massive plants, I had really no idea what I was doing, I know alot about plants and alot about gardening, not everything, but, some people get mechanics and some people get math it just comes easy to them, I get plants... I had alot of minor problems first time around I researched as I went, I really have become alot more familiar with nutes and what mj likes and dislikes... she isn't so picky it's just to get the best of both worlds meaning quantity and quality you have to have the right conditions and environment. I have researched my brains out... I'm talking hundreds of hours, I can look at a plant and know what it's problem is, I'm just not familiar with the hermie situation yet, I really don't want to be either, but.... I know it is something I must learn. No seeds please!!! I have tried growing probably 50 different strains so far, I am slowly narrowing it down to my top 10! Everyone has a top 10 or 20....I love Pineapple Express, she is smooth and heady but not too much so you can't stay focused. She is my fav... I love OG Purple Kush, strange looking plant but she outdoes herself each and every time, weighing in at 8.5 oz cured.... This will be our 3rd harvest and I have gotten it to the point where we will be on a rotation instead of big harvest and paranoia, we will be harvesting smaller amount weekly. I use advanced nutes and a few other things, superthrive, molasses and some old skool shit too, I use pro mix I do add bat guano and other things to the soil since pro mix isn't highly enriched. I have seen nute def with pot and phos on the last 2 grows this time around I only seen it with like 2 plants vs. 8.... so it's better, I'm getting better, it's trial and error right! finding what works for you in your situation and environment, I try to tell people not everyhting works the same for everyone, I mean there's alot of factors, lighting, ventilation, use of CO2, humidity, temps, I mean alot of people use closets, basements, garages, outbuildings... situations are just different. We have switched our light cycle to night time... basically our girls work 3rd shift... I mean the summer heat is a bitch!!! I know people who have had such insane probs with heat they are really paying the price... or only growing a few plants. It works for us... our temps are beautiful!!! Humidity was a prob, it was ready to rain... but, we took care of that.... we run a dehumidifier during the dark cycle... We r now into our 6th week and all is well except our Afghan I still don't know WTF is up with it... if she's just not gonna produce big buds, or if she is gonna be a hermie, I haven't seen signs of bananas, but, it so much looks like seed pods forming... I"m like talk to me and tell me what's wrong... it's just not working out though. Everyone else is lovely and smelling beautiful...
