Lowryder #1, week 10? Almost done?

Alrighty, it's been just over ten weeks since she was planted. It's funny, every week I find myself saying "two more weeks, tops" but this time I really think I mean it, two more weeks would be 3 months total, but I'm sure by then she'd have finished up already, it still seems like she needs more time so I'm giving it to her, but I'm cutting her off at the end of the month, give or take. I wonder, because she's an auto, when she is genetically programmed to die of old age? I know they are mortal, you can't reveg or make them mother plants, so how long do they live if conditions stay the same(still lighting and watering) and I don't cut it down yet, or even, at all?(but not cutting them down at all and waiting for them to just die doesn't sound like it will work out, or will it?)
Anywhoo, This girl is a lot bigger than most of the pictures I've seen of this strain, maybe I got lucky, just to remind you, she's a Feminized Lowryder #1 by "The Joint Doctors" I picked up from attitude, I planted the other two seeds during the winter, huge mistake, it was way to cold that winter, but I just couldn't wait for spring, I had 'em and wanted to put them to use. So, anyhow, she's lookin' alright, the trics(that's what those crystals are called, right?) are still clear or white, it's hard to tell them apart, no scope. A lot of the pistils are orangeish but there's still a bunch of white ones all over. well, I'll just refer to the pics above but they aren't perfect. Oh, and if you want to play "Guess My Yield" from the pics go ahead, she's still alive and breathing so there's no way to cheat, and when she's dry and ready we'll see how everyone did. For size reference she is about 20-20 1/2" tall, I say "about" 20 because I can't get the measuring stick right in the dirt, too much plant in the way. Questions or comments are cool, I like knowing I'm not the only one reading this.

    looking nice, should be done very soon, i would put a little scope to check out the trichs to be sure. i got joint doctors lowryder #2 going right now

    the dieing of the plant does work my m8 done it with big bang auto the weed went almost black but it got u very stoned but its all about timing

    hate to diss you, dude, but although that plant looks strangely happy and healthy, you're not gonna get much smoke of it. are you actually using an incandescent light as your bulb? if you're not, then something is terribly wrong, you plant is very strange looking for a plant in week 10 flowering. very small buds, with a nice tight growth of the stems, no stretching. so strange! perhaps light leaks? much much nitrogen? I guess not much stretching is really due to the lowrider part (it's ruderalis, isn't it?).

    i wouldn't think the risk of growing would be worth taking for so little bud. it is beautiful nonetheless! how did you keep them so healthy for so long?

    also, they look like they might be ready. in some strains late flower purpling is an indication. did you check the trichs with a magnifier?

    i wouldnt just let it die off. On my last grow, i was growing a bagseed girl and she didnt look like she wanted to finish. The trich's were just staying cloudy preety much so i let it go till 10 weeks and some change. Then after i chopped her and cured it the herb was a little too dry for me. Its wierd, its not too dry from drying it out but from flowering it too long or something. The reason i say that is cause i just think it woulda been better if chopped about a week earlier, i think ...

    point being, dont just let it flower till it dies ...

    Hey all, ty for the feedback. To answer some of your questions I'll do a quick recap of what is up. This is week 10 of it's entire life, not week 10 of flowering, I'm using ffof soil, A LED panel above her(moved for the pic, that's where the Purple you see is from,) and CFLs on both sides, with the occasional half turn of the bucket to expose the other two sides to more light. And yes she has streached out quite a bit since the start of flowering, she used to be about 7 inches tall, now she's 20, and in picture 3, if you look at the very top in the center, you can see part of the main stem with a huge gap between nodes, as a result of streatching out, btw those branches are coming from almost the very bottom of the plant. As for the bud size, I think I was under watering it when she started drinking it up faster, that and I never got to buy any "big bloom" or other flower boosting nutes yet, I think that would have helped.Still, looks like I'll pull at least a 1/4 to a half, just eyeballing and lowballing it. For me, choosing an auto was about fast, easy growing with low smell and low height. I wanted my first harvest to be complete ASAP, because once it's chopped, it's only possesion, which is barely a crime here. I didn't want 6 months of stink putting me at risk for two years in the clink. Oh, and about how she stayed so healthy this long, I think my little friend the plastic sheet had something to do with that. With some creative folding I have a floor cover and a 360 degree shield against dust and bugs. Of course there's a moderate gap at the top, but not directly over the plant, it's to the side, then there's the "door" which I keep an eye on from my chair. It's so fun to be able to just turn and look at my baby anytime I feel like it. Like now... awesome. Anywhoo, better wrap this up, probably low on space.

    A buddy of mine has original lowryder 1
    he planted it on May first i went to his house last week and he was so pissed he gave me the plant its been flowering for over 45 days and did not show sex till day 45 of its life its july 25 2011 and that means its 3 months and lil less then 3 weeks but its still going small maybe 15 inches lots of branches and buds all frosted probably two weeks left
    i had same batch of seed am my males showd day 15 and females day 18 so whats up with this one no purple on mine and still going strong in two weeks if not real yellow or dying should i let it grow longer any way so for hi jacking thread nice planthttp://mediamail.boostmobile.com/mmp...Y7kP5I65MoohWa
