you didnt let it cool,he tells you to let it cool before using.ive been using subs recipe for awhile with great results.iwill never rely on salts again.subs the man,you must let it cool first as he says.
I've had that problem too. Sub's soil mix is incredible..don't get me wrong, and I do let it cool..but some stains find it....rich. I've cut out the blood meal entirely, and replace with rabbit pellets and some n bat guano. Seems to provide more "early" n,and let my plants "fade" like I want them to do.
