My Journey with Northern Lights

NL#1 is starting to show sex! A small nub has grown on the side of her node, in between the first and secondary branch.

NL#1 is growing an inch a day now. She is hurrying to mature, I imagine, with the 12/12 light schedule. She is 9 inches tall today. Just didnt feel like taking a picture. Tomorrow maybe.




NL#2 Is stretching a bit. I think it is because the light comes in at an angle. She had a little heat stress today, but I am still happy with her growth. Her bottom leaves are brown cus I kept rubbing them to smell ...

NL#1 is 6 1/2 inches tall today. She is under 12/12 lighting now. She has 2 2700 bulbs an 4 5000k bulbs. When she grows wider I will add two more 2700k bulbs.

Her spots have stopped completely.





NL#2 is out in the sun. She is quite happy on the florida room. I wll be topping her as soon as she gets 4-5 nodes. She has managed ...

CFLs were pissing me off. The plant was tilting to the closer lights. I decided to rearrange them.



NL#1 is looking healthier. She is growing fast now, already 5 1/2 inches tall! Her trunk has widened all the way to the soil and her seedling leaves are about to fall off.

NL#2's odor is getting pretty strong. I can smell her outside the door now. I will have to build her a grow tent this weekend to contain the smell.

I was up late staring at NL#2 and decided to make some cfl reflectors. I had some spare flashing handy and some latex acyrillic caulk. Snip snip, bend, glue.

Hopefully they seal well.. I really do not want to use rivets if I don't have to.
