Well y'all, my Fruitylicious girl and my Satori (unknown sex) have taught me some things this week and I LOVE that because learning about the different strains is a blast. They both got a feeding 8 days ago and they looked cool a few days afterward, but for the past couple of days I've noticed that the Fruitylicious is yellowing around her edges. Although there are a couple of really small yellow spots on the outer part of two of the Satori's leaves, she/he is thriving; in fact, it is surpassing the Fruitylicious despite being the younger plant. I only gave both of them 1/4 strength of the recommended dosage of nutes so the plants have taught me that what the breeder states at the website is true -- their strains are bred NOT to require too many nutes, if any at all.

I am also learning that the Satori is a more hardy strain thus far than the Fruitylicious. Satori is able to thrive under sometimes high stress (heat) conditions without evidencing that he/she is stressed, while the Fruitylicious always shows me some sort of unhappiness when the environment is not to her liking. I'm having to pretty much run the air conditioning non-stop for her so that her temps do not go above around 85F unless there is high humidity. If I let the room get 90F and the humidity about 55 - 60%, she actually seems to perk up. So, if I'm going to expose Fruity to high heat, I MUST have higher humidity for her as well; however, I'm pretty much maintaining temps in the low 80s.

I let them out to get some of nature's wonderful rain today and have put them in their grow bags which I hope are their final growing spaces so that I don't have to do any more transplanting. I'm going to just give them ph'd water over the next several weeks to see if Fruity starts to get her color back. I hope I don't lose her 'cause I don't hear/read much about anyone growing her, what she smokes like, etc. and would love to have something out here in cannaworld that people could refer to for learning/experience purposes.

Anyways, here are the babies. I'm sorta hoping the Satori is a male so that I can get lots of good seeds:

Feedback is welcome on what my Fruitylicious girl may need!!

Much grow love peeps!
