  1. Messin' with the Fruitylicious too much!

So first off, I decided not to stress my babies with a full transplant 'cause I knew I wanted to do some training this weekend. Instead, I just filled my microkote pots half way with some soil and set my smart pots inside the microkote pots. If the roots come through the smart pots they will have plenty of soil to continue growing into.

Next ... I know better than to smoke and train but I did it anyway. I was real easy on my Satori bush and just pulled a few of her branches down and ...

    Sigh ...

I am ready to throw my babies into their 12/12 cycle so I can see what sex my Satori is! Found out the exact date my visitors will be coming and it's going to be the 30th of July through August 5th!! That's another 5 weeks away! Since I wanted to try to scrog this grow, I would have to keep vegging until my guest is gone because if I start now it will be challenging to move 5 weeks into flowering with a full screen.

    Sigh again ...

    Debating whether ...

Not too much going on to share, just watching the babes grow day by day. The Satori is getting wider with big leaves while the Fruitylicious is getting taller. I had to put Satori's grow bag on some old video tapes so that she could be nearly as tall as the Fruitylicious and would not be too far from the T5 lights. They remain healthy though:

At just 3 (almost 4) weeks into vegging, the girls are starting to stink up the grow room. When I walked in there the other morning, I knew it was time to break out my carbon filter setup. Flowering is going to be even worse and I'm starting to think I'm going to have to veg even longer than I anticipated since I'm expecting company soon. If the babies are flowering while the guests are in town, I will have to move them to the garage for a week 'cause it's clear they are going to smell extremely ...
  5. Something I'm considering about my observations of Fruitylicious

    by , 06-11-2012 at 04:43 PM
Although I am assuming that the Fruitylicious may not have liked her nute feeding, after perusing a post about plant problems here at RIU I looked at a photo similar to what my girl is looking like and read this: "A deficiency of this (nitrogen) causes yellowing of the leaves. its common during vegetative simply because the plant is using it up just as fast as your putting it in". Hmmmm ...

The post also described how nitrogen deficiency starts at the tips of the leaves and ...
