These are pics of my first attempt @ training and some other random shit. In the far right pic you can see the UVB bulb I attached and I threw in the flourescent bulb I was using for Serenity just for the hell of it.




Pineapple Chunk is actually the girl with the smallest root bundle, but she's the most accessible and I can't even get close to lifting the others out. I'll post better root pics @ harvest



Finally got the UFO up! I also removed the mutated leaves because they were blocking all the light to the newest healthy ones.

So I had to do some serious re-adjusting over the weekend again which is serious pain in the ass because it's like a fkin jungle in there now. The largest cola on the Strawberry Cough grew right into the HPS so I tried to weigh her down a bit and train her sideways. It worked great until I got back from lunch and she was bent at a 90 degree angle... I put a little splint on her made out of zip ties and a small section of wire from a coat hanger and within a few hours she was already back up and growing straight towards the light so I very carefully weighed her down again. This was all on Friday and by Saturday she was already hitting the glass again so I rotated the entire bucket so that the biggest cola was now growing up towards the LED that I had to raise by 8" but by then the second largest cola was already almost hitting the glass so I trained her down a bit.

I've learned another lesson this week... I need to set up my reservoir system because I can't change out my water anymore because the roots are too big and I can't lift the plant high enough to get the roots into another bucket. I guess I'm going to have to siphon the water out from this point forward which is going to blow.

MONSTER - This crazy bitch is growing almost completely laterally. I think it's good, though. This morning she shows signs of dozens of bud sites.



THE GARDEN - Those are all from yesterday morning and this is everyone this morning after their first dark period. I switched the spectrum on my 357 Magnums and put the girls on 850 ppm of Connoisseur A&B, Bud Candy & Piranha. They all produced 1/4" hairs @ the bud sites and the smell increased by at least 50%. I know I need to move my light higher. I will do that tomorrow. I also think I'm going to put my LEDs adjacent to the HPS instead of using them as side lighting.


And last, but hopefully not least, is the Northern Lights x Blueberry (autoflower) seedling. I put her in a well rinsed "Simply Orange" orange juice container because I thought it would be a good idea but it caused some fuzz to grow on the pod leaves. I went ahead and just amputated the infected area and I made her home less enclosed. I'm thinking about putting her in a 3.5g soil pot and hitting her with either an Illuminator or the Penetrator 84x-pro, depending on how my funds are looking. I found a bubble bag system with 8 bags for $100 and I couldn't pass that up. I'm excited. Anyways, if there's anything special you guys would like to see me try with this new lady, let me know.

These are my ladies @ 3 weeks. One more week till' 12/12!! I have to turn the HPS off or it's too bright for my camera to take pics. It makes these crazy lines. I quit with the foliar spray because my lights are on 24/7 during veg and even @ 1/8 strength, the Canna Boost burned tiny little spots into my leaves. Won't be doing that again. I'm gonna use the solution to foliar spray my shrubs outside my apt :). Only the ones on the left, though. I'll be sure to note how that's working out.

I found out my humidity gauge was broken and last evening I turned off the HPS for a couple minutes to take these pictures. I don't think I'll do that again until flowering in 2-6 weeks, depending on how fast they grow. They've been in the DWCs for exactly 2 weeks when these were taken. I've decided not to scrog them this go around. I've taken enough risks for my first time and I don't want to mess things up. I also was going to start germinating a couple autoflowering strains, Northern Lights Blue & La Diva, but I accidentally dropped the La Diva seed in the carpet and I will never find it because I lost it somewhere between the couch and bedroom. NL Blue has a tail after 14 hrs and goes into the peat plug on my lunch break here in a couple minutes.

Progress as of today! I'm so proud of my girls..

They're recovered a bit. I trimmed off some of the pineapple chunk's leaves because they were about 60% dead. I read somewhere that if they're over 50% dead to cut them off. Is that right?

Haha thanks, that's awesome. My next grow will be soil. I've heard great things. These are my babies today. I cant tell if it's nute burn or magnesium deficiency. My tap water is about 300ppm and I've got the Strawberry @ 800 ppm, the Pineapple @ 700ppm, the Exile at 480ppm and the Monster @ 700ppm. My temp is between 76 & 82 degrees.

Sorry it's taken so long, but here's how the progress is going. The Tangerine and Arjan's stopped germinating. Idk why, but my pink plant started growing in circles and I gave up on it. It had about 7" of stem with barely the pod leaves. Maybe it was a mutant? Anyways, in these pictures, taken about an hour ago, Exile is 6 days old, Strawberry Cough is 9 days old, Monster is 8 days old, and Pineapple Chunk is 14 days old. I accidentally nute burned the Pineapple Chunk in the beginning and killed pretty much everything else, but I've learned some very valuable lessons. I've got a chart of the nutes i've been giving them, the number of leaves, and the height changes every other day if you're interested in me posting that. It's an excel document, though. Anyways, if you have any tips or recommendations, they are greatly appreciated
