New Grow Setup: Ebb n Flow

Genetics:
-7 White Widow clones and 11 Platinum OG Kush clones

Goals:
-1/4lb to 1/2lb of WW and 1/2lb to 1lb Platinum OG Kush.
-No more than 15% crop loss
-No instances of pests or mold

Items I have:

1-4x8x8 mylar grow tent with zippers on all sides
1-6in exhaust fan sucking through the lamp and blowing out my window through a covered screen
1-4in intake filter, connected to my AC unit venting
1-3x6 top tray
1-50gal res and lid
1-Airpump
1-Waterpump (circulate the nutes)
1-Drain pump with 30ft tubing directly to the bathtub for easy remote draining
4-Airstones and Pump
2-Large hydroton bags (don't remember the size)
1-Large rockwool cube bag
18-Square net pots
1-Cool hood
1-600w dimmable ballast
1-1000w dimmable ballast
1-Box fan

Right now for veg, I have the 600w HPS running to quickly grow up a bit, I keep it between 400w and 600w depending on if I'm spraying or not. They are all green and I've hammered in my ratios... not a single nute problem right now! (but ain't veg the easy part hah)

Items that I still need:
1-1000w HPS bulb for the second ballast.
1- Cool hood
1- Auto-Fire Extinguisher
All- Blooming Nutrients
Carbon Filter (waiting until the end of week 2-4 to pick up one)
Thermometer (borrowing my buddies right now)

The plan:
Grow 18 plants at 1ft spacing in my 3x6 tray. Top before transition and then weave new growth through the trellis. I will put the Platnium OG plants under the 1000w and the White Widow under the 600w. This hopefully will keep the sativa and indica dom. plants around the same height throughout most of the grow. Trouble shoot that problem when it arises.

1- 4in intake fan...jimmy rigged to our AC unit
1- 1000w HPS bulb with the exhaust sucking through it
possibly throwing in a 400w MH for extra spectrum and light

going to grow out 8-10 bushy indicas, probably purple kush clones.
going to scrog them like crazy
CFM: -278
temp: 66-74

In the closet will remain our 4x5x2 tent where we will either begin sexing strains or continue making soil planted mother stock for use. Or we may just have some indicas in soil and perpetually be flowering while the other tent is in veg to really speed up our harvest periods.

pics of the set up soon.

here is a pic of the african princess, as I like to call her, came from a bag of african kush mixed with mango. The guy I got it from flies all over the world collecting seeds. I'm pleased with its progress. Not sure on the sex yet though :/ if its male, we will use it to cross breed.

Day 36 of flowering. I said screw off to the terrible pre enriched bucket and flushed that. Then watered with ro calimagic micro and bloom, adjusted ph yaddah yaddah. It looked like it was having serious nitrogen deficiencies. In all fairness, which I am embarrassed of, it turns out our temps were fluctuating from 54 to 96 with light on light off for two nights before we had a chance to do something about it, that may add to the distressed look of the plant. Now we have a proper setup. 6in inline out through a 1000w HPS hooded lamp and out the window. Also, we have a 4in inline straight from our apt ac unit. It's low ambient is 68, its canopy low is 69. It's high is 72 ambient and 74 for canopy. We also popped in the teens we cloned off of our best plant. Should be interesting to watch. This is my first grow. So it isn't perfect, Really all practice for my ebb n flow system I'm doing soon.

One of my girls, that my roommate is growing, is turning yellow as hell in her leaves. Real bad. We flushed her and then readjusted her height from the new 1000 watt HPS that we got last night. New intake 4inch inline going straight to our AC as well. Temp is coasting at 82 light on, 74 light off. Considering a 4x4 for the next grow. Itll be 2 2x2 trays connected to a 20 gal res. under 1 1,000 watt HPS and 1 400w MH. Vented the same, but were hoping to have the extra space help with natural ventilation. Also it would come out of the closet and sit out on its own in my room cooling it down much further.

Any help in diagnosis of the sick girl would be helpful. Before this new intake and bigger vent fan, we were going up to 90. So I'm thinking heat. And maybe some chem burn. All I do know is that the older leaves are turning yellow, and theoretically it is too early to have them naturally yellowing.

Ill be building a ScrOG screen for my girls that are too tall right now. I will be constructing it out of orange construction fencing and cedar wood. I read on this forum about some good ways to SOG and ScrOG and feel comfortable enough with it to try my own hand at it. It's gonna take some training, I worry that my plant stalks are too dry and thick to really be able to train without any neg reprocussions. I'll send a pic or two once it's all set up. The little clones are looking good. Since I did a poor job of dropping the ph of the Rockwool early on I had to do it last night. I believe it's at around 6-6.5 which isn't horrible. The stuff baselines around a ph of 9 so at least it's back in a good direction.

Doing well for my first grow and it being an indoor one at that. No pests no mold. I'm getting a germ mat and cover soon and a all in one hydro garden to grow my clones up to teens. Gonna start going nuts with the cloning and all. Considering a last minute ScrOG as a bandaid for too much plant height. I'm thinking maybe next grow just doing a SOG to maximize growing space and materials.

The little clones are doing well. Lowered down the pH to around 6.0 and threw them in bags after snipping half the leaves, really want them to root ASAP so I can pop them into soil.

This will be fun. I don't know what type of plant to use though. I need something that grows under shitty conditions, that germinates quick, and doesn't need a lot of maintenance that I can have 25. Also, no it cannot be cannabis of ANY form.
