Why Morals are Subjective and not objectivly rooted in God

It is morally wrong today to own slaves, yet in the bible God was perfectly ok with it.
It is morally wrong to kill another man yet God orders the mass genocide of the cannonites.

There is the story of Job which is a man who has his life completly taken away in utter misery (read it to find out how horrible it was) from God for what? Essentially to win a bet against the Devil. Where s the morality in that?

How about the story of Nathan and David,

David commits adultery with Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite.[27] Bathsheba becomes pregnant. David sends for Uriah, who is with the Israelite army at the siege of Rabbah, so that he may lie with his wife and conceal the identity of the child's father. Uriah refuses to do so while his companions are in the field of battle and David sends him back to Joab, the commander, with a message instructing him to abandon Uriah on the battlefield, "that he may be struck down, and die." David marries Bathsheba and she bears his child, "but the thing that David had done displeased the Lord."[28] The prophet Nathan confronts David, saying: "Why have you despised the word of God, to do what is evil in his sight? You have smitten Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and have taken his wife to be your wife."

So Nathan goes to David and tells him a story of a wealthy man with a big flock of sheep stealing a poor mans only sheep to feed a party he's having. David gets in an uproar and God says to David through Nathan;

Then Nathan said to David, “You are the man! Thus says the LORD God of Israel: ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. I gave you your master’s house and your master’s wives into your keeping, and gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And If that had been too little, I also would have given you much more!”David
Does anyone see anything morally wrong with this? God clearly says that he gave his masters wives and if it wasn't enough he would have given him more. How morally good is God?

My favorite example; It is morally wrong for children to work in sweatshops over in Indonesia. But the truth of the matter is that children have ALWAYS worked even up until the early 1900's in America. In 1880 there was a survey taken in America and over 2,000,000 children under the age of 15 worked 60-80hrs a week. Now it's morally wrong for children to work why? because we are now a wealthy nation where our children don't have to work. Lets look at it like this, Indonesia is where we were economically 150yrs ago what if someone told us 150yrs ago we weren't aloud to have children work we'd tell em to fuck off. Is it fair for us to impose the same moral standards on them even though they are so far behind economically? The country is so poor they wouldn't even be able to afford to instill a minimum wage. Here's another fact children working in sweatshops in Indonesia make $2.10 a day. If we stopped doing business with those sweatshops their is only two other options for a job. The girls could go into prostitution or all the children could go back to the farm they were at before only making a $1 a day risking starvation. Ideally we would want to think if they didn't work they would be in school... well the few schools they have cost $ and when the children are working it's because they are helping the family eat, even if they didn't work they wouldn't go to school so what else but starve.

I guess the point of my rant is that Morality is completely subjective it isn't objectively rooted in God or come from God's will.

Here is my argument; with the premises and conclusions laid out.

For simplicity, suppose the atheistic moral system consists of one rule only: “Harming others is morally wrong”.
The theist’s objection seems to me to be the following:

1) Why should anyone follow this rule? People are free to disagree with this proposed system of ethics (psychopaths, say) - one may regard harming others as “morally good”.

2) “Harm” is an ambiguous term - what one person considers harm may not be so for another.

Therefore, atheistic morality is subjective.

But surely this can be said of the theist’s position too? Under theism, morality would be something akin to: “adherence to the wishes/nature of god is morally good”. Let us apply the same line of reasoning to it:

1) Why should anyone adhere to god? People are free to disagree with this proposed system of ethics (Satanists, say) - one may regard adherence to the wishes/nature of god as “morally wrong”.

2) “Adherence to god” is ambiguous - what one person considers as being in accordance with god’s wishes/nature might not be so for another - look at the thousands of discrepant denominations.

Therefore, theistic morality is subjective.

All thoughts welcome

The sources
The encyclopedia of organic gardening (rodale); Knott's handbook for vegetable growers (john T. Wiley); Western Fertilizer Handbook (interstate press)

Synthetic Nutes of nitrogen carry a high percentage of the fertilizer and offer a quick boost to plants. But they don't do anything for building soil, which is why many of us are organic growers. Organic sources may contain less nitrogen but last longer and contribute to a helathy soil matrix.

So I am just going to throw up a shit ton of pictures from throughout the grow which is all we give a shit about anyways.

Seedling Stage:
Nothing much to talk about here…

Vegetative Stage:
Well the plants are now under an 18/6 light scheduled under 1x400w MH. In the beginning I was having a few troubles with nute deficiency because my soil mix wasn’t ready in time for the small containers so I had to mix together organic nutes to liquid feed. This caused about a 1 week stunt but once put into some of the soil mix they blew up and no more problems. I started with 2gal
All have been growing healthy and I topped all of the plants. Day 15ish
After a few days they all had nice shoots coming from the topping.
All are about 7” to 4” and are quite bushy day 25ish
Transplanted all to 6gal pots and sprayed with neem oil Day 40ish of veg
In a matter of days they almost doubled in size!

Flowering stage:
Flipped to a 12/12 light schedule and added a 400w HPS to the already 400w MH.
Within a week or so I gave them just an EWC and molasses tea I also clipped off bottom bud sites probably bottom 1/3 or ¼ of the SD and left the others the Critical +2 looked practically identical to the SD so I didn’t clip the bottom nugs of that one to see the difference (I know it’s not a good true taste since their not the same strain or from a clone but whatever I will still learn a lot from it.)
And as you can see from the pictures they are all grew quite nicely and healthy.

I had some issues with lighting (my new heater was glowing red during the dark period and didn’t notice until it was too late so I chopped a bit early to avoid hermie pollen.
Final Weights; SA = 28g, SD = 60.5g, C+1 = 38.1g, C+2= 42.2g

Unfortunatly when uploading pictures I somehow deleted the folder with the Critical + pictures.... and it's not in my recycle bin idk wtf happened too it. but I managed to scrounge up some other shots of em. Sorry for the disorganization of photos but enjoy :)

Aloha! So this isn't my first grow but my first "Journal" persa. I have choosen to publish this grow because of the few experiments I am conducting on this grow. On the last grow I experimented with molasses and flushing. Btw I'm going on record to say flushing doesn't matter and no I may not know shit but neither do you! So don't try and correct me. Those results were quite interesting but this is something new.

What I have going on:

Inside
I've got a 4x4 tent with carbon filter and fan hook up. Inside is a 400w MH & HPS.

1 x LA Confidential
1 x Blue Widow
1 x White Siberian

The nutes that I am using are the Fox Farm Trio on the Blue Widow and White Siberian.
The nutes used for the LA Confidential are Humboldt Nutes Verde & Ginormous + Sea Green.

Once into flowering they will all receive molasses and all other factors will be identical except for the way they are maintained. Which I will get too later.

Outside:

I have 2 Northern Light Autos. I don't have much info on these so It's kind of a crap shoot on what's gonna happen. I started with 5 but ended up with two ( You know how it goes sometimes) But outside there conditions will be identical except NL1 will receive the Humboldt nutes while NL2 receives the fox farm trio.

All plants are grown in my own compost soil mix.
