Two solid weeks into my first foray into multispectrum lighting and the prognosis is nothing short of amazing. I am seeing rapid new vegetative growth. The plants seem to be stretching a little more than the traditional dual spectrum set up but not as much as noted with HID lamps. I hypothesize that a lack of IR energy from the source of light impedes inter-nodal lengthening and growth. I have since begun investigating possible solutions that would bolster the amount of IR in my spectrum without ...
Growth is really starting to accelerate noticeably. I also added two more actinic bulbs from Coralife to replace the crappy 6500k lamps. Next week I plan on taking clippings and start a few clones on veg with moms. I also trimmed up the bottom of Blue Hash in hopes to train her into a more manageable form.

This video and pictures were taken on Week 5 Day 5.
This is week 4 day 6 when the video was taken. I water and feed alternately. I usually end up 'wetting' my medium once every 3-4 days. I use 1 gallon of R/O water to mix my nutrients in accordingly. I have a basic PH meter and moister meter. Nothing too fancy here; except my 'over priced' nutrient choice .
