Kaya Gold is supposed to finish first with a listed flowering time of 63 days. Delahaze and Master Kush are advertised at 70 days flowering. Kaya Gold hasn't been in the tent with the others and is behind schedule because of that. She will probably finish last. I'm guessing Master Kush and Delahaze will be ready in about 2 weeks. Delahaze swole up big, hopefully she won't suffer from fluffy bud syndrome in the end. FBS is my primary concern at this point.

I haven’t checked on them the last couple days and they are showing major signs of dehydration. Droopy leaves, some undergrowth has browned and died. I gave them a thorough watering of 96oz each with 6.5ml Liquid Karma added. I think they should bounce back OK.

I requested the flowering model this time vs. the veg model so I can use that for Kaya Gold when it gets here. This will leave me with a spare 240w veg model. I plan to get the next round started under that relatively soon, just need to think about what size cabinet to build and where it’s gonna go.

First, the good news, my second Blackstar 240w flowering model arrived today so I can now switch to flowering cycle.... Good news and bad news.

First, the good news, my second Blackstar 240w flowering model arrived today so I can now switch to flowering cycle. Tomorrow will officially be Day 1 since the lights will turn off at 8:00 AM. I had to take Kaya Gold out of the tent and will flower her in the closet next to the tent. I will buy another tent or come up with something light proof to put her in shortly but this will have to do for now. Also, I will have to flower Kaya Gold under the Blackstar Veg model because that’s all I have to work with at the moment. I know this will be much better for Master Kush and Delahaze in the long run which I think will end up being the better smoke. They will love growing into the extra space during the next 8-9 weeks.

This brings me to the bad news which is that when I took down the new veg model I bought a month ago I noticed the middle UV (I think) burned out. It’s turned black or very dark brown and it looks like the glass has a burn mark on it. I tried to take pics but I’m no photog and my old digi sucks. See below. I’ve seen this issue reported by a few others in the threads here on RIU and I’m assuming Gotham Hydro will take care of this issue under warranty. I will be firing an email over to them shortly and will post their response.

The girls looked thirsty today so I fed those bitches 56oz water with 4ml Liquid Karma each. I’m seeing some cool stuff looking up close but my camera sucks too bad to get good shots. Delahaze has some frosty purple stems and is showing signs of pistols already. I trimmed her a little bit on the bottom, stuff that had not hope of getting light and was mostly a weird gold/brown color anyway. Same with Master Kush. Kaya Gold is another story, it’s a forest under there and I’m staying away from trimming for now. Don’t wanna noob it.

Well, here’s some pics of how they are looking now. The fun part has finally come, excited to see them in bloom over the next couple months.

They are getting really crowded in there which won’t be good when they really take off during flowering. I’m thinking I’ll have to keep the number of plants down to 2 in this tent next grow. I’m not sure how the overcrowding is going to affect them later: I will need to do some research on that. I don’t really want to pull one out of the tent now but will if I absolutely have to. I will post pics tonight.
