I pulled 2 of the ladies, they were the venus fly trap. Im thinking its around an ounce per plant dry. Its curing right now between a paper bag and a glass jar. In a few more days it should be just right. Ill be pulling the wonder woman by next weekend! The pistols are just starting to recede and you can see the darkening of the buds which means that the trichs are just starting to change. Next weekend is a lot of work for me: Harvest/hang, rotate group 2 to the back, bring in group 3 to flower room, transplant group 4 into final pots, and cut clones for group 5.

Ill post pics next week of a lot of stuff. So far I am not impressed to be honest, with the venus fly trap. I thought I would be prior to harvest but it might just be due to the fact i stunted them so hard with nute burn. I cant wait for the wonder woman though! Good luck guys, hope its going well!

Small update. Just some pics. The flower room is fully going. Some of the seeds i was germinating showed roots. I cant wait for some new strains. The closer pics are of the venus fly trap. You cant really see the burn on these pics. Im not sure whats happening to them. The second round is getting zero nutes and the leaves are curling in. I think the ph is really low. Anyhow, check it out. I'm not upset about burning the first round, ill still get nice buds. These buds are hard btw.

It has been nearly a month. A lot has gone on cause Of previously stated reasons BUT, to sum it up. I burnt the first round and they are no recovering and growing well. The second round seems a bit touchy and has got almost zero nutes. They actually look great and have been flowering for 13 days. I have a total of 6 - 250 watt CFL bulbs and 2 - 26 watt uvb bulbs. I have my veg chamber reduced to holding only the 6 vegging clones and 6-8 rooting clones. I have another location for the mothers. I have room for 3 moms.

I currently have 1 - wonder woman seedling becoming a mom. I also have some seeds germinating that came from a family friend. This guys did his own breading from seeds he got via "mail order." He started around 20-24 years ago. These seeds are from old genetics and he made his own crosses. I am germinating:

(G13 + hash plant) x (Northern lights #1)

(northern lights #5 + skunk #1) x (northern lights#1)

I also have about 20 seeds that are totally unidentified. from various crosses that he made.

Good luck everyone. I'll post some bud pics soon

i had surgery on the 9th so updates will be slow. maintenance on the garden is difficult enough. im 16 days into flowering the first 6 plants. they have been under 3x 250 watt cfls. Temps are between 72.7 - 78.6. this temp range has been maintained 24/7 since flowering started. im about to take clones for round3 and move round2 into flower on 10/2, giving clones 14+ days to root well. veg period is 5 weeks, not including the 2 weeks they get to root. the first two rounds have already had this timing thrown off, im not sure of the veg time. Also, the next series of clones are all going to start out much bigger. Im positive that this will impact final yields/size.
Most of them have pre-flowers and I am really excited to see how well the CFLs produce. The second pic is of my newly transplanted clones(and 2 moms in the back) that were put into the veg room. The veg room is totally dialed in. The flower room is being used for the first time, I put them in last night. I have such high volumes of air movement that I can get my daytime temps to just about whatever I want!!! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!
just in case you are wondering, I can afford some decent pots and am going to phase out the kitty litter buckets lol
We are talking about the wood, nails, screws, wires, fans, lights, filters, etc., etc., etc. SO it came out to be just over 4000. You have no idea how much I had to do though to even get to where I could build a room in my basement. Just know that I re routed A/C vents for my home, water pipes, electrical, and more. There were a lot of factors that increased my costs. I could itemize the "equipment" to somewhere around 2500 bucks. If I knew then, what I know now, I would have setup 600w HPS air cooled lights. HOWEVER, I can get my temps to mid 70's (AT THE HOTTEST POINT IN THE ROOM), fairly easily, in the summer heat. Hopefully CFLs will give me some tight buds so I can quit regretting investing so much into the. If I upgrade to HPS, I will have some bad ass side lighting lol

I have completed my flower room. Heres a couple pics. 6 x 250 watt lights. Flowering 1 plant per light at this time. That is gonna change up as things get going.... heres the room. I have 2 fans in and 2 fans out. 1x 4" & 1x 8" in and the same going out. This is because I started with the 4" and realized I need a lot more air so I got the 8" fans and let the 4" system intact. They are separate from each other meaning that each fan has its own intake line and exhaust line. I can get my temps to mid 70's easily on my dry runs(no plants). I have massive air flow. I just hope these filters work. They werent cheap

Ill try to catch you up shortly. I am growing in my basement with 250w Feliz CFL's. (6500k veg, 2700k bud).

Fox Farm soil in 3.5gal buckets. Feeding with 16-16-16 seaweed blend fert as well as Superthrive. feeding very low amounts like one a week and plain water like once a week so i water like 2x a week. firm believer in not too much H2O

The strains are from Nirvana. Wonder Woman and Venus Fly Trap, both feminized(am happy with nirvana btw)

I am growing Mothers in my closet inside in an 80's era thing called a "phototron". Its old but works for moms. It has 3x 34w t12 fluoros and a socket to plug in more light as I see fit.

My veg chamber is 33"w x 53"l x 48" h. I have 2 x 100 cfm fans(one in, one out), a humidifier, a circulating fan, and 2x 250w lights. Temps are like 80-85f and humidity is always 55-65%.

Currently I have 2 mothers, 7 Clones that were transplanted and put into the veg chamber 15 days ago(8/1/11) and 4 clones that were awhile ago and should be showing roots soon :)
