Well I guess the most exciting thing I have to share is I put a few plants outside. I know it is late in the season but I could use the know how for next season and I have some leftover FF Tiger Bloom left over from a closet grow I did in college. Anyway here are some pics of those.

These two I'm not even going to hope for buds from but they look really bleached from the sun. Will they stop getting bleached or should I just feed them to the goat?

Now for my problem:
I have 4 rooms all side by side. And the lights are all ducted together. But the light can be seen from one room to the next. Anyway this can be fixed? Ideas, questions and comments are welcome.

As you probably can tell this is my first grow journal. Just a couple months back I was approved to be a medical grower with three patients. So Stoked. Lights:

Three Eye Hortilux 1000w hps (one lamp/ hood in each room) in 8” vented Magnum XXXLs and one Digilux 600w MH in an 8” vented Blockbuster hood; all vented by a 8” Vortex fan. Also I have an 8 bulb t5 fixture for clones.

Fans:

Two 12” MaxFan (one for intake and one for exhaust), which exchange the room in the space about once per minute, and one 8” Vortex for the lights. I know I'm repeating myself but I figure the fans section should list all the fans. So yeah... next;

The entire space is 11' Wide X 20' Long. As you can see in the picture I have built 4 rooms that are just about 5'x5'. The rest of the space is a control room where the temperature is controlled by a thermostat which turns the fan on if it gets too warm and a timer that turns them on periodically?


QUESTION: Do you need to have your fans run all the time or can I have it just exchange the air by turning the fans on every ___ amount of time?


System:
The first room with the MH bulb and t5 lamp is for the mothers (which will be in FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil)and the clones. I am planning on trying out the bonsai mother technique and I am building a clone machine. The other three rooms with one 1000w hps are going to make up a perpetual grow. The plants will live their whole life, from rooted clone to a fully mature beauty in one room. I am planning on building 3 (one for each room) separate ebb and flow bucket systems. Then I'm going to put a screen that is 4'x5' in the room and Scrog the plants.

As I'm sure you have figured out I am a little ahead of myself with the plants. I has given the clones from a friend and he needed me to take them so unfortunately I am going to be putting together the rest of the rooms while the plants are vegging into healthy mothers.
