Hmm, I musta misread something about the different types of cannabis on wiki. If the one plants of mine is satvia, I will definitely try FIM'ing... I started LST'ing it but took it off later- paranoid that I was doing something wrong. I know there are lots of good guides for FIM'ing, so I'll be sure to do it soon! I need to buy some small scissors or something- probably able to get just what I need from Wal-Mart's pharmacy section.

I think they are looking fantastic- what do you think? I will also definitely be cloning the bushy one- it seems like it will fit into my space. Also, I think I can keep the temperature low enough to add a third plant, but I will do that after I get this grow under my belt, which will hopefully be fruitful.

I used a graph from GH and put in just a little under their recommended amounts.

Just some more info- to help you critique and give advice. Grow space was at 92.3 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity was at 41%. pH of each bucket are around 5.6. I'm pretty sure these are fairly constant. I want to put another plant in there, but am afraid it will get my room too hot because I'll add another light. What is a good way to cool down my space? I can't really put holes in my door because I'm renting this apartment. I did add a window air-conditioning unit to my room to lower the room temp. thus (hopefully) lowering the space temp.

Also, check out one of my pics of my big plant- see those little yellow dots? What could they be? They're only on that one leaf and I just noticed it today.

Final Summation of Questions
How to lower space temp. to add another plant?
What's up with those yellow dots in pic 3?
Should I start LST'ing the big one? Any guides/how to's that are better than others?
How do they look?

Gimme any advice you can!

Hopefully it will take off like the other one. The first one has its first set of 5 leaves- I'm soooooo excited! And the plant is a beautiful dark green, compared to my other sissy seedlings! haha Sorry no pictures today, I just wanted to update so I can remember when to change my nutes! lol I can't wait for the other plants to catch up!

I'm going to see if I can get a better camera with a macro on it for close ups so I can show my babies and set-up better!

Well, I was able to set up my new light fixture last night. It's got two 55w and two 42w bulbs. My bubble bucket girl seems to love it! It's growth has taken off with the first set of 3 leaves starting to grow quickly- but it may just be the nutes too. I want to use one of those set-ups for each bucket. Would that be too much? It's a small space and got really warm, but I bought a fan today and it cooled down pretty quickly. I'll have to see if it actually keeps it cool. I heard if I put wet towels in there, it'll produce humidity and help cool it down- is that true/good for the plant? Well, I may just make another light set-up like the 4-way then make a 2-way set-up and put it in the middle because the one in the middle will be getting light off the other two. Make any sense?

I still need to put the other 2 plants into their buckets, of course. But I need to figure out what's the best thing for lights/heat. I still need to get a couple air stones and air pump(s) for the buckets. So as soon as I figure out the light situation and get paid, I'm going to finish my set-up.

What do you think so far? What's your opinion about the lights- more than just "Shove as many as possible in there!" haha If you want to, give me any tips, tricks, and criticism- it all helps.

Pic 4- 2 days ago when it was smaller, it was missing the end and it's grown proportionally... Any ideas?
Pic 5 (lower leaf, left side near tip)- I think I might know what's wrong. It may have touched my 68w bulb- it gets pretty warm and I know the plants are fragile still. Does it look like it got burnt or something else?

I added nutes (General Hydroponics) into the regimen today. I mixed the nutes in a gallon bucket then put the solution in a spray bottle. I'm just spraying the cubes, keeping them nice and moist.

Tips, tricks, info- all greatly appreciated!

Questions!!!

1. Should I worry about how tall and stringy they look?
2. Is it o.k. to start LST like I've done with the one? (I did it b/c it's the tallest and I want the light to be as close as possible to the others)
3. Should I still have them under the humidity dome?
4. I accidently spilled a smidgen more of FloraBloom than was supposed to be in there- should I pour it out and remix so it's 100% correct or is it not a huge deal since it's weak solution anyway?

Well, I had not expected the seeds to pop and for the tap root to come out so quickly and aggressively- they're growing like weeds! haha But at least it made me get off my lazy butt and make a run to Home Depot and try to improvise a light source for my potential sprouts.

I got a 62w, 4200 lumen CFL. It's a ginormous light (length and girth [just like me]), and I know I'll have to get more lights in the future if I want to grow and flower anything at all, but for now I expect it'll be sufficient for my seedlings...

I plan on doing bubbleponics. I've never started a seed. I don't know if my picture displays it clearly, but I'm using a medium that is not rockwool, but the dudes at the hydro store said it worked the same (it was cheaper and difficult to work with [lesson 1 for me: don't cut corners]) I soaked the medium and shook it out. I picked the biggest and most aggressive looking seedling and I put the seed down into the medium as gently as I could.

THE QUESTIONS I HAVE:
Do I need to keep it under constant light OR cycle?
Do I need them in the humidity dome they're in now?
Do I go from the plugs directly into the my 5gal bubble-bucket?

I put these seeds in the wet paper towel 3 days ago at about 5:00 pm and I'm surprised to see 3 days later I'm already seeing growth from these crappy bagseeds. I don't really smoke so while smoking with a couple of different pals I asked to see their seeds and kept 'em... the 2 on the top are from one guy and the 3 on the bottom are from another.
