alright at the moment i've got 3 critical jack autos 21 days from seed, they are 8-10 inches tall. also have 2 og kush vegging with them under 400w HPS. and 3 more critical jack under cfls, just 2 days from seed and about to break through the soil.

i had an issue with the 5 older plants- bought some bad ffof soil and had a major bug infestation. so today i completed the process of sterilizing and repotting. also treated the leaves and top soil with garlic oil and apple cidar vinegar. tbch my autos only need another 40 days or so. figure if the bugs come back we will just deal with it as long as the plants continue to grow.

my grow room stays between 86-88 degrees F. can't seem to cool it down any more than that. i have two exhaust fans and one intake running straight a/c. plants seem fine with it so i will leave well enough alone. added co2 bag, which they love.

all my plants are on a 24/0 light schedule for right now to help with the stress of transplanting. they've had an inconsistent light source the past two days. so i want to get them back on track before putting them back to 20/4.

i guess that about sums it up. comments?

I decided to try another grow even though my last one didn't go so well. I think I've learned some things, and have set up separate veg and flower areas, got my heat under control by tapping into the main A/C vents and exhausting to the attic. Prepared to handle 10 plants, should I be lucky enough to have all fems. Not likely, but we'll see. Now I'm deciding on strain. I'm thinking Durban Poison and White Widow... there's so many to choose from and I'd like to start out with two that contrast eachother.

The clones never rooted, lived happily for about 2 months just standing in soil. Ended up throwing them away. In the end I only had one female plant left. It looked good, smelled good, and I waited until the trichs were milky to harvest. A few were amber. But I guess the genes were bad or something because you can smoke this one all day and never even get a buzz. Got about 2 ounces in yield. But what's the point... going to throw it away I guess. What a waste of time, energy and money. I had problems with heat, so thinking I'll wait until I have an A/C to try again. Looking at Durban Poison this time. Unless I can sell all my supplies, that would be preferred.

One was a weakling and had to be eliminated. I have spent so much money and time investing in this... and I have one female plant. And it was the smallest of the group throughout veg. Stands 15 inches tall today. Out of 40+ seeds, out of 16 seedlings, out of 7 plants. ONE. Maybe I'm not meant to grow. I can't even fucking smoke out and think about it because I don't know anyone in my area who sells. And even if I did, I'm fucking broke from all the equipment and my electric bill. What the fuck. Anyway, going on second week of flower. We'll see. Maybe I will be able to relax in 7-8 weeks. Maybe I will just be more pissed off. Who knows. Either way the grow must go on.

I have seven plants, mostly purple power and a few unknown varieties, just starting their third week of veg. So far I haven't had many problems except for controlling heat. I'm using a 400w HPS and 4 long tube T8 floros. I finally resolved the heat issue by putting them on a 16/8 cycle and leaving the tent open during the hours the lights are on (from 10 pm to 2 pm) this way I don't have to hide the light because I am either alone in my room during this time or in the house alone. So once I resolved the heat issue the symptoms I was seeing (curling, yellow leaves on a couple) went away. I have two plants that are insisting on growing sideways... the stem is completely bent horizontally along the soil, and then the top and leaves are turned upwards toward the light. I fixed this by straightening the plant and supporting it with a popcicle stick (added a full inch in height) and turning the leaves away from the light. In about 10 hours they both turned around and are now growing straight up. I've been giving a tiny bit of nutes every few days. Barely anything in terms of strength. I mixed 1/4 recommended dose with a gallon of water, then filled the watering container with plain water and added about a cup of the mix to that pure water. Just to get them started slowly. So yea, going good so far. Pics are from a couple days ago, plants have grown some since then.
It seems like at least a couple should have sprouted by now?? It's been three days and they were all germinated to the point of cracking open. I'm getting anxious... this is the last of my seeds!

I couldn't find an answer about whether or not to stick my freshly planted seeds under a light right away or if I should keep them in darkness until they sprout. Seems everyone does this slightly different with mixed results. So I have eight "plants" under lights, eight in total darkness, and eight in semi-light/dark. The ones in total dark are on an insulated heating pad set to low. All seeds have been germinated using papertowels, all have cracked but not sprouted roots. All are in a moist coco/soil/perlite mix and all except six have their own pots. All are in freezer bags to increase humidity. I plan to open each bag and spray plain water on the soil every morning, then close the bags up again and leave them alone.

There should be some results in a week or so, right? Suggestions? I just want these babies to break the soil... I'm pretty emotionally invested plus I spent plenty of money on these seeds and don't want to screw it up.

Currently planted: Purple Power, Ice, Bubblegum and two different miscellaneous free strains.

Comment if I'm missing something.
