So my order from Wax Planet came today, received 10 Ice, 10 Bubblegum and 10 misc. I started germinating 5 of each. Put them in wet papertowels standing vertical in dark cups and wrapped a heating pad around, set on low because it's been cold here lately.

I have everything pretty much set up to get them started. Having some issues getting into my grow box. It's open on top (with a lid) but so tall that I can't reach the bottom easily bending over into the box. Thinking I will have ...

Does anyone know why it says "stranger" next to my avatar? Is there something I have to do so that it will change?

My grow box is all set up in the side of my closet. I know I need to add a filter to it but at least I have a fan for now. Of course two of the kids walked in to the closet as soon as I was done. I tried to play it off like it was somehow part of their Christmas present. Didn't really work.

I wonder if my seeds will get here this week... trying ...

It's been four days of germinating and looks like my Orange Kush seed isn't viable. I thought it would root for a minute there because it cracked open a tiny bit and could see some white inside... but I guess not since it hasn't changed...? Well, working with just one little seed (that doesn't do anything or need anything) isn't very much fun so I'm looking forward to my shipment from "Wax Planet" coming in. Any day now. Germination
Choose best quality seeds (robust color, large size, fat shape, uncracked, hard and shiny)
Soak in cup of water in dark for 18 hours
Put seeds that have sunk to bottom in wet paper towels
Use heating pad on low to cover container (keep dark)
Check every 12 hours
Soak only until white initial roots are visible
