Sept 1st 2010, set up my new lights
Sept 1 2010.
Last night went and picked up the rest of the stuff i needed to set up my grow room and for my next batch as the 1st attempt is finishing up this last cpl of weeks. Picked up a Ph,light and humidity soil tester, power strip, outlet timer, some perlite and verculite, nutes and misc. things. This morning during my light period for my plants i took down my old set up, the walls and cleaned up the room. Marked out where my light would hang, hung the lights, a nice set up i think 400w mh hps switch ballast, using a hortiflux 400w hps atm, and i have a eye blue hortiflux mh for the veg on the next batch, running 4 plants atm, plus my wife likes to put other things in there such as veggies and shit, plus our cats enjoy fresh catnip and cat grass. set up my fans to blow on the ballast just incase of heating and set up a bigger fan to put a cross breeze to bounce of the walls and hit the light and the plants for cooling. For the next batch i set up a hempy bucket for one and going to use soil and nutes for the other 3, decide to atleast try 1 bucket and if i like results going to switch over to them. Right now just using seeds i got from bags off my buddy, nothing to brag about, basically commercial, cpl steps from schwag. Later on will post some pics of this batch and what not. This is so much fun for me, i like a hobby where i deff get some nice rewards from it. Plus its interesting to watch the plants go through their phases of growth.
