As mentioned I am a mmj patient in california. I wont do much writing, only the neccesities, but if i ramble somewhere a little bit, forgive me, i am currently medicated (3-6 dose edible, 2- .5 gm blunts of pink panther, one still burnin). Anyways, like i said, not much writing, i really just want to get pictures up to share with others and hopefully get/give advice and tips.

So to start, info on my room... i have a walk-in closet with two doors, one regular door on one side, and a sliding mirror closet doors on the other.

Setup
Approx. dimensions: 8' x 5' x 10' — 4' high mylar all the way around.
1- 1000 watt hps (second is on its way)
2- 4" fans from target & 4" ducting (intake & exhaust) — mounted in sliding closet doors
1-10" circular fan


Plants
2- Jack Herer in soil @53 days into flower (clone)
2- Super Silver Haze in coco @1 day into flower (clone)
3- Strawberry Diesel in coco @1 day into flower (clone)
4- Jack Herer in coco @12 days from seed
Feeding with Cutting Edge Solutions 3-part, plus GH CaMg (i kno i kno, but i had to go cheap with my first grow)
Will be switching to Advanced Nutrients 3-part i think. Def AN product for sure.



So heres the deal with the plants... My buddy had some jack herer he let me try out. In the half-ounce he gave me i found one seed. It looked beastly to say the least. It had vicious stripes on it, like a tiger. The shit looked mean. Like if you were lost in the woods for a week on some survivorman shit, and you found this little guy, you would even eat it the shit would scare you so bad! So naturally, I was really excited because i was just finishing up my first "crop" (if you can even call it that). So i planted that seed, and this is what i got...



The first Jack Herer was grown in Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil, 5 gallon pot, plain SF tap water w/no additional nutes. All but the last 2 weeks were grown under a 150w hps (all pics prior to 1000w). I vegged for a month prior to flower. it was a little more that 3 ft tall at it peak. total final weight was a meager 26 grams. I missed watering for a while as i was out of town, and when i came back, all but the main cola was wilted, droopy and twisted. The whole plant recoverd, however, the bottom branches hermied. I ended up getting 12 good looking seeds. I also had taken 4 clones from it prior to that near-death experience. 2 died, and the two Herer's in the pics are the ones that survived.

The Strawberry Diesel and SSH clones came from Harborside Health Center in Oakland. Gotta be one of the baddest dispensaries around! had dozens of strains of clones, all extremely healthy looking, and all for $12 each. Will be making another trip to harborside this weekend with a lady friend to pick out a new strain or two to add under my 2nd light.

Currently Im having a heat issue, i bought a thermometer yesterday, and found out my room was getting as hot as 103! wayyyy tooo hot! and i have another 1000 watter on the way! so i slaved away for another few hours, re-routing ventilation, and adding another intake fan. I have managed to get it down 10 degrees to 93. still too hot, but def better. Im going to be bringing in a window A/C unit, which will be placed outside the room, and attached to an intake vent. It will be connected to a thermostat to keep the room at a nice 75 degrees!!!

anyways, thats about it for now. Ill update the pics regularly to show grow, and the expansion of my crop and grow room.
