Hey guys.
So, I'm going round 2 with my DWC. The first time I tried with seeds, I failed miserably, being a total newb to Ph and the likes.
Now that I've been enlightened, mostly by Roseman's DWC guide, I understand that res Ph needs to be about 5.8 to 6.2.
My set up currently is 2 of the same plant, cloned into rockwool cubes by me. I have two seperate 5 gallon buckets, and when I went to check the Ph this morning, it was a bit high on both res' so I lowered them, one is 5.76 and the other is right at about 5.7, this seemed good enough and I didn't want to fuck with the PPM's by adding more tap water to raise the Ph. Both reservoirs are at ppm's of about 250-280. I have a small amount of Pure Blend Pro Gro, Molasses, and Mychorrizae bacteria in both of the reservoirs.
Additionally, my drip irrigation is on a timer so that it only drips 15 minutes of every hour.

Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.

I just got my new strains from the Single Seed Centre, despite a slightly long wait (I'm thinking due to holiday mail) the seeds arrived safely today, I will begin to germinate.
I was wondering if people had an opinion on planting germinated seeds into a DWC system, I have the system, but I'm a newb to DWC and I don't want to kill these seeds whatsoever. I'm used to soil and soiless, so I was thinking of using these as mother seeds, but I'm anxious to get my hydro set going at the same time. Any opinions?

So, I picked up a few clones of some local strains - Barrel Bud (Heavier Indica) Cleopatra (Heavier Sativa) and Nitro (Hybrid). The strains come from some old timers, fellow MMJ patients, and they grow these babies with soil/tap water no nutes.
I've thrown the clones into some Sunshine Gro (soil-less) and been giving them the light love of nutes, to say the least they are loving the PureBlend Pro Gro with Molasses. I've topped each of the clones at least 5-8 times now, I am trying to get upwards of 15 colas off each of them. So far they are growing like beasts, and this is in week 2 of being in 5 gall's of soil-less.

First 3 pics are Cleopatra, then 2 pics of Barrel, and 1 Nitro.

Comments are appreciated, happy growing!

Hey guys, I'm new to the whole bubbleponics set up and I just purchased a PPM tester and have been reading up on how high my PPM should be in week 1 of veg, from what I read a safe bet is from 2-300ppm for the first week. I have 2 bubbler set ups, 1 of which was at about 70ppm for the first week, the 2nd of which has been at about 100ppm. The 2nd plant has been growing slightly faster. After researching and buying my tester, I've adjusted the PPM for both set ups to about Currently, I'm at just over 100ppm for both of my set ups and the plants have been growing fine, they are a BIT slower than my soiless mix, which is making me wonder if I should throw some fertilizer in the bubblers and adjust the PPM? Or, should I do it at a slower place, like I have going from 70ppm to 100ppm.

Thanks!

After having a bad experience with some hot soil, I've decided to experiment with a couple new methods. Soiless & Bubbleponics. The soiless mix I'm using is Sunshine Gro (0 nutes, balanced Ph) and I'm using Hydroton clay pebbles for the bubbleponics system.
I was able to acquire some local strains (Barrel Bud, Cleopatra, & Nitro) which were donated to me from some old timers that only grow with soil/water and have a philosophy that if bud doesnt turn out well with JUST soil/water, then ditch the strain. So, I'm pretty excited to see what I'll be able to do with these bad boys once I'm able to clone them and throw em into my bubbleponics set up.
I've attached some pics, the clones have all been rooted and I just topped them last night, I will transfer them into soiless pots once I see they have healed. I also have my juicy fruit seed in the bubbleponics system, which is only about 6 days old, so far I'm extremely satisfied with the results, especially considering the root system hasn't even hardly developed!
