Sweet Deep Grapefruit Grow
This is the 6th day since she popped her head out and there are a few updates. She fell over Monday morning due to not getting light on her quick enough. Propped her up with a little more soil and she is doing very good now. She was watered with 1/2 cup of 6.5 Ph water and has 2 100 Watt equivalent CFL bulbs on it. Tomorrow she will get a full cup of 6.5 Ph water. Here are 2 pics we have so far... Any and all comments are welcome!! Peace OUT!!!
Sweet Jesus she popped her head out this morning and is looking good. She is about and inch or so tall and looks healthy so far. We gave her about 3 tablespoons of water just enough to keep her happy until she gets a little bigger. We will try and update again tomorrow. Peace OUT!!
Checked this morning and it has not popped up out of the soil yet. Watered with a couple tablespoons of water so the delicate roots don't dry out. We are using 6.5 Ph purified water for each and every watering and will switch to the 6.5 Ph Guano/WC tea when we switch her over to Flower.
We germinated the Sweet Deep Grapefruit seed Last night and planted it this morning and we will update you then. We are going to try and post as much information about the grow as we can, who knows, it could help someone else or we may get some better suggestions on how to do something better then what we are doing now. This is only our second grow and we are hoping for 3+ ounces a plant with CFL lighting, only yielded 3/4 ounce off 2 plants last year in a Soiless Mix. I think our yield was low ...

OK. we are going to grow 1 Dina-fem Sweet Deep Grapefruit Feminized seed. We will be using some potting soil from our local Nursery that is very similar to Fox Farm Ocean forest mix.All the amendments being added to the soil are added by using the directions on the packages, (Bone Meal, High N Bat Guano, Worm Castings) During flower we will switch to a High P Bat Guano mixed into a tea with worm castings for watering.
