    Default Reading material.

I feel soon I will have a lot of reading time. Topics of cannabis will be
greatly frowned upon. Does anyone have a title or two that does not contain
pain or violence as a retribution? Humiliation, fright and/or driving them into the poor house would surfice.
Time will not matter as I will have lots of time to get it right the first time.

No need to ask whom or for what reason it will never be reviled here.

Thanks if you have input. if not well I hope you never have to medal with the likes of the bloody fucks that have decided to gang up om me.

I haven't read much lately but here are some good ones that stand out to me.

Jack London can sure make you forget about modern life. Probably helps that his work was published in the early 1900's. I've only read White Fang and The Call of the Wild. Both very good.

I mostly like books about adventure, the outdoors and human/ animal interactions. But I'll read anything good. Right now I'm working through Anthony Bourdain's newer novel, Medium Raw - A bloody valentine to the world of food and the people who cook.

If your a fan of the show and his sense of humor, check out his books.

I'll offer two of my favorites. The entire Vorkosigan series by Lois McMaster Bujold. She writes so very beautifully, and yet with startling fidelity to both the nobility and nastiness of humans.

And, if you want to read the single most epic work of fiction that's crossed my desk in years ... cn
