"I find it a little odd that we're going to have a Congressional hearing to look at those two deaths out of 40,000... you have to look at death rates in safety terms rationally."

i find it amazing. japs bomb pearl harbor and years later their car is the #1 seller here. next thing you kno osama will introduce a new line and be #2 who knows...i wonder if any toyotas in japan are havin this "sticky" gas pedal....the problem is the electronics not the pedal. when you dont have a linkage controlling the acceleration bad things are bound to happen i guess. i myself wouldnt be caught dead in one.
