Auto flower new growth close to harvest

The new buds are because the plant is still going. The 70 days the breeder said is not an accurate reflection of actual finishing times most strains IME need three full months from seed to fully mature. The NL auto I grew took the full 3.

So you could pull it now but I would not. I would let the plant finish, there are new capels n pistils and it's caylexes were still flat rather than folded, so it doesn't look done to me. Are the buds hard? Check out the "is it done" thread over in the harvesting and curing section.

Not sure where you read that it will trick them into thinking it is winter if you switch the light cycles. This is true for reg plants but for autos it is best to keep them on a steady 20/4 or 18/6. Changing the light cycle can cause massive stress and more for autos. Hopefully this helps you in the future .

i've grown several nl autos and they all have finished somewhere in the 80 day range. i would let it finish to your taste. GL

this happens with almost all strains, hence the reason why everyone is always running around asking when to harvest, theres really no right or wrong answer on this other then, let it go until you feel ready and from there learn from mistakes and experiences, new growth usually indicated that the plant is not done flowering but this is not always the case, sometimes sativas tend to foxtail really late in flower when most of the buds are done, just my opinion, good luck bro
