What kind of light for seedlings ??? & when best to start co2 ??? Auto`s
If no CFL is around then could I start out with a 600w MH with seedlings if I raise the light around 4ft? Also the light does not put out hardly any heat because of it being well vented. These would be auto`s. With a cycle of 20-4. & when would be a good time to start CO2. Can I start asap or would that be pointless right now?

You are either going to fry your seedlings or stretch them. If the MH is dimmable then put it way down, if not, you could always use cfls or t5's. No point in using co2 untill a few weeks in as the plant will hardly be able to use it, but if you want, you could.

so 600 full strength 4ft away is too much or too little

That seems way to far. I would say 14-18 inches, but I don't know much about HID lights, i use T-5's

well i can come back from streching which at this point they are not doing. its the burning i dont want. like i said theres no heat radiating down so. & its on 2 days at 20-4. kinda scared though because they are so lil. but room temp is right on the money & they are in their CAP ebb & grow 2gal homes with no more moving around.
