    Default Il Diavolo Automatic ScrOG

    Hi guys, moved this from stealth grows cause my wardrobe seems a bit large to count.

    I'm growing three Delicious seeds Il Diavolo Automatic. Fem seeds and good genetics, they all look absolutely fine and dandy. I've heard mixed reviews about scrogging autos due to the short veg time but I thought i'd give it a try anyway to see for myself. I've also been caught growing a couple of times before so cross your fingers for me that it doesn't happen this time!

    Started them out for a couple of weeks under a 250w MH light but after flowering began i wasn't really pleased with progress. I've just added a 125w 2700k CFL which is working absolute magic and they've nearly reached my improvised screen now. This is my first organic grow so any tips or hints would be greatly appreciated! They're in Canna Terra soil with worm castings and perlite and i'm fertilising with a tiny bit of bat guano at the moment.

    I'll update pics as interesting things happen, any comments or advice you guys have to offer would be awesome. Great sense of community here!

    The pics are before and after i added the CFL, probably about 4 or 5 days in between.

    I'm growing the same strain in my current set-up, I am hoping someone can offer some advice!

    How old are those plants in the pics from seed? So far, I'm pretty disappointed in size, but I think I stunted growth by leaving them by the window sill for 5 days while we had visitors.

    She started to flower after 23 days and doesn't seem that she'll get much taller. GLWG!

    I threw 1(freebie) in my veg chamber in my BC Northern Lights Bloombox which is a 125 watt 6400k light on for 20 hours. It ended up about 18-20 inches tall and yielded about an ounce of some good smoke. I grew in a coco/ perlite mix in a 3 gallon smart pot and used House & Garden nutrients line per the schedule and it was beautiful.

    I think those were about 3 weeks from seed? I know it's bad, i just haven't really been keeping track! Seems like they're so easy to grow and they look after themselves so well that I couldn't be bothered with the whole counting the days thing. Having said that i'm pretty sure these new pics are about 4 weeks in with 3 - 4 left. They're well into flowering with some lovely white pistils and lots of bud sites forming. They've also reached my screen so i've started to train them gently sideways. The smaller auto's do seem ridiculously small when they start flowering but i'm sure you'll be surprised with the growth rate in the last couple of weeks.

    An ounce per plant was more than i was expecting and would be amazing! Do you remember how your plant compared to mine size wise at about 4 weeks? Would be very interesting to get some sort of idea of yeild.
