Question About Autoflowering ak47 Strain

im growing my first autoflowering plant and my question is what is the best lighting cycle to grow them in? i know they will flower on their own no matter the light schedule but from what ive seen 12/12 and 18/6 are the ones most growers use, can anyone shed some more light on the subject for me?

I'm currently growing Auto AK47 and have them on 20/4. With Auto's you can virtually go 24/0. Just water and feed and let them do their thing.

i'm currently growing some easy riders and i have them on 20/4 and they are growing well,like tyinman04 said they can go 24/0 it depends on how much money u want to spend on electric, also i would expect more light means more yield! PEACE!!

12/12 will just lower your yield. I have always grown autos on 24/0.

ditto on the 24/0 to let them reach maximum potential. 12/12 doesn't work nearly as well. I wouldn't run 24/0 with HID, just seems like a potential fire hazard.

ok ill try that, i only have 150 watt hps and a few big cfls for side lighting, im in a closet so i only can do 1 plant at a time now but im kinda looking into auto flowering because you can grow them alot quicker and they dont nearly get as big, its all for personal use so im not trying to produce 4 ounces or anything

20/4 is the way to go IMO

18/6 or 20/4 are what you should be using don't do 24/0 unless u got light leaks, the plants need a rest
