Cream Caramel Auto Grow

Hi I have recently started 5 cream caramel automatic plants, once germinated i planted them in 11L pots with biobizz soil and have been watering 1L each of water (PH 6.5). they are 2 weeks old todays and I have noticed some roots growing out of the drainage holes on the bottom sides of the pots. was just wondering if there is anything I can do to get the roots to explore the sides of the pots without repotting? Any advice would be great thanks.

Grow setup:
Tent: Secret Jardin DR90
Fan: Inline
Carbon Filter
400W Dual spectrum HPS In Cooltube
11L pots
Nutes: BioBizz Grow, Bloom, TopMax
Soil: BioBizz

Should i be worried about a few roots growing out of the side drainage holes only after 2 weeks from germination in 11L pots?

you'll want larger pots for max yield. Autos like room for their roots to flourish, don't inhibit them or it will cost you in the end.

I've grown this strain several times it kicks ass. I've pulled over 60 grams several times using 5 gallon (roughly 19L) pots. Best of luck, the smoke is fantastic, like you're smoking a caramel latte.

when do you think i should pot up? they are 15 days from germination now.

Now if the roots are growing out of the container. It is best to never inhibit root growth. I start my autos in peat pots in a humidity dome and move them to a 5 gallon pot several days after they've sprouted.

Do you need a 5 gal pot. Seems large for hardly any veg period. I did one ina 6 inch( i know too small) but got 15 grams dry. I was gonna use 1-2 gallons next myself. I figured that should be large enough but this is my first real time with autos

DSC01053.jpgDSC01058.jpg yes if you want to max them out - some caramel I grew a couple months back in 5 gallon pots. Give the roots enough room to grow and you'll be rewarded.

I grow my Cream in 3 gallon pots of FFOF with lots of course pearlite & Floranova nutes. Under T5's I get close to 2oz of buds every grow a little more if you get the bushy babes.

I've used 3 gallon pots and have broken the 2 oz mark before but found they were a bit rootbound at the end which led me to upgrade to 5 gallon pots and I now get on average 1/4 oz more than I was averaging with 3 gal.

I planted 3 caramel cream 2 weeks ago today into 3" pots, they are only on there 2nd set of leafs and are less then half that size of yours ? I wanted to sow into biger pots but i could not garantee heat stability, so i went for the small pots in the prop. TCD

I have 3 Cream Auto's going as well. They are 32 days old and are about 16-18 inches tall. I have some pics to post but I am having some technical difficulties at the moment. I will post pics as soon as I can.

DSCN1497.jpgDSCN1498.jpgDSCN1496.jpgHey Hoss,

I am curious about my CCA's. They are 35 days old now and just started flowering at 28 days. They are growing outdoors. The breeder says this strain will be done 8 weeks from seed. I guess what I want to know is will the overall time until harvest be extended because of the flowering time or will they be done in 3 to 4 weeks? I use House and Garden nutes on photoperiod plants. I want to do the same for my autos. Do you have a general feeding chart that you use for autos that you could share?

Thanks Rizzo00
P.S.- I actually bought this strain because you suggested it few months ago.
