Default Do you keep your plants directly on the Concrete floor?

I hear from a lot of people as to why you shouldn't keep your plants on the floor and should put something underneath it etc but ive been keeping mine on the conrete floor since I started. Im gonna try putting an upside down drip tray underneath them this next grow.

Any of you seen much difference? I can see it being an ordeal in really cold climates perhaps.

Run mine on insulation boards in winter on bottom of pots. Summer my basement get's pretty toasty due to the lights.Run them right on the concrete. Don't let the water get under them too much when you water. Works for me but, you may want to shop around for other opinions.

the water has to go somewhere, light watering, heavy watering . I set mine in buckets or rubbermaid trays , then dump the runoff out in the flowers

20% runoff is really what you want that ensures even saturation without air pockets. It also prevents salt build ups.

Concrete floors in cold climates, you are fine here.
