i have made bho about 20 times...(thanks to a member here who has an awesome tutorial in a thread...i will see if i can find it) people LOVE it..but it is a pain in the ass...buying 100 cans of butane is not cheap...the product is extremely sticky and difficult to work with...must be done outdoors... for some reason the smell of of the butane when extracting attracts flies ..some will land in your pyrex and contaminate the product....i am going to try dry ice next time.
im on riu mostly during the outdoor season, so PM to get in contact, posts could take longer for a response but ill check in when i can.
I like some good kief that's a nice lite gold color that just melts and bubbles never Burns. Ill make bho after I got all the best trichomes for some superb kief
i just don't take any chances..i wait for a nice day and go outside and let her rip... i am probably going to wait until i can buy or build an extractor that recycles the butane before i run any more and do dry ice in the mean time.....i am kinda paranoid when i make bho..i keep my cell phone inside and have nothing close to me that can spark...
This is what we do to mouldy buds. Thats a glass bread pan.
I've learned that if you heat your material is becomes quite liquid
and can be poured into various things. Great way of getting
every last bit out of your glassware.
There is absolutely nothing like the odour of terpines coming
off 230 degree hash oil when you're decarbing it.

220 micron bag is too big and is why your hash is green and not blonde like it should be. nicely pressed medallions though!
edit: for reference, bubble bags, 220 micron is the same size as the work bag which is the very first pull that holds the plant material.
