Default What are you going to do when the first dispensary opens in the valley?

We're all going to face a big choice when the first dispensary opens, maybe as early as this August. Legally, each of us will be able to grow until our annual patient or caregiver card expires. After that, growing would be treated under the criminal code in Arizona, not the most lenient state in the union.

Some of us were growers before the law, and will continue to grow. But be advised, I doubt it's accidental that smart electric meters are being installed throughout the valley. It will be next to impossible to hide that you aren't continuing to grow unless your electrical usage drops dramatically.

Some of us were growers before, but will be content to buy from dispensaries. Content may be a strong word - maybe resigned is a better term - resigned to giving up a fun hobby and inexpensive medicine but getting the highest quality product in return.

Some of us were not growers, and will continue. See the warning above, and since you never were a clandestine grower, you'll lack the basic instincts the survivors have developed. I would strongly suggest that novice growers quit once their legal status changes.

And finally, i think most of the people growing in the state were not growers, and will stop when the law changes. These are the law-abiding types who only considered cultivation when it was legal.

what do you think's going to happen??

Someone will get arrested creating a domino effect! One after anyother will be arrested until someone says "WAIT this is unconstitutional." And the "25 Mile Rule" will be repealed!!

I'm just hoping to renew my card in July so I can get another year of growing under my belt. Hopefully our individual constitutional rights will be recognized before my renewal in 2013.

I love to grow. I'm not a dealer I've never given out my meds to anyone. I'm just worried the people who open the Dispensary's are going to be the people who really don't care about the type's of meds and not give a crap about the people who take the meds. They will only care about the $$$$. I've been to some in Cali. And there are alot that are great!!! Great people great meds and so on. and there are some that a junk! they only want $$$. The 25 mile rule is BS!!

Think I'll go in & check on the price of meds . . . most likely will cost more than I can justify spending but nice to look in the window .

I like how everyone Villianizes the potential Dispensaries that will be opening but no one talks any shit about the "Compassion Clubs" that are already open. I peeked into AZ GO GREEN on Mill and Baseline, $450 for an ounce!!! Not to mention it's all outdoor Cali bud that has been trafficed and probably purchased for $1700lb.

    LOL....redirect your hatred folks.
