Default Favorite Grow Shop in the Valley

Hey Forum, I am curious as to what is your favorite Grow Shop in the Valley based on knowledge, willingness to help and pricing?

I am thinking of adding another 600W HPS and am about out of nutes...

I have been to Sea of Green in Tempe and the grow shop on Southern across from Mesa Community College. I would give them both a B-

    Thanks - j

I know the indoor nature store on 24th Street and Thomas has good deals on lights, hoods, and ballasts. The shop owner told me he would hook me up with a 1000 HPS, Ballast , and Raptor Hood for 420.00 ( thats a pretty good deal the Raptor hood alone is close to 300 bucks.

They sell everything. They are a big company. Probably the only grow store in the valley where you can get everything even nematodes, preying mantis, predatory mites, mini split AC's. Bummer they didnt help they always talk to me, remember dude they probably know as much as you.

I suggest doing your homework first and then going to the grow store chances are when you ask us, we have used a lot of the products in their stores, for instance if I havent used XYZ nute line maybe Bird has. Shit I was at The Depot and they just got in House and Garden Nutes and they were barely doing research so the only info they have is the info they got off the web on most of their products. Here we actually have tested and used most of the shit they sell so we can tell you what works and what is crappy equipment.

back in 1998 or so, i used to go to a place in tempe that sold hydro supplies and bean bag chairs, relaxing pillows, and other 60s type stuff. i bought a couple of good pillows from them! i think it was ACI hydro.

these days, i usually go to sea of green in tempe but they went through a stretch where they didn't have some of the basics so i started using the one on broadway. they're both friendly and well stocked. i used to sea of green in phoenix for years. if i go to sea of green at 10:05 again, only to find a sign saying back at noon, i'll stop going there permanently!

i don't buy online and only pay cash for growing supplies. the online stores know what's up and i'm not giving my CC info and address to anybody. the fact that it seems that the war on us is heating up makes me think this is a good policy to continue.

i need to find some ozium 3000 refills but last time i tried to buy some, i had three different stores take my money and then send me emails saying they were out of stock. i tried to buy a 12 pack and the same thing happened. i just want to buy 3 or 4. i can't find any info on why these are hard to find. it's annoying!

Yeah I dont buy anything on line. I'm one of those guys if I'm gonna shell out dough for something I want to have it in my hand and take it home that day. I actually have been to most of the hydro shops in the valley for a while the only ones available were Sea of Green and Home Grown Hydro then the law passed and new stores opened up left and right. I honestly go to 3-4 different grow stores, I never find everything I need for a grow from one store. Plus I like walking around in the grow stores and just looking at all the different shit.
