reservoir & maintaining pressure
hi,
I figure why add a res to the design when true aeroponics doesn't necessarily need one.
-The time at which the vapor is not spraying is the time necessary to dry.
-And at 1.5 liters/day I have a setup that if my calculations are correct, would be 1.3 seconds on, 2.2 minutes off.
What I found with the capabilities of my nozzle and my pump is:
-In order for my nozzle to reach a 6 micrometer (mu) diameter/droplet the pump needs to reach at least 450psi or above, anything below that and the nozzle will give off vapor varying the size of your drops, lowering the pressure is suitable for larger plants.
This is what I'm aiming for. The problem is this is my first time and everything is setup and the piping works but I haven't started growing yet and I'm trying to nail the pressure setting on my pump to at least 450 so it stays that way during it's off time, which I haven't understoor, considering when I test it the entire room turns into a cloud in a matter of minutes incapacitating my ability to read the pressure guage.
