Chief: what does your hydro store say? A lot of the printed instructions the nutes makers give you leave a lot to be desired but the folks at your hydro store where you bought it should be able to fill you in between the lines. For one thing they're apt to be more timely when you need advice than we are here and they'll want your continued business.

As far as a flush, before the change, a couple of days in pH balance water should do it. This is why you want to get your feces together before you start growing. You eliminate the chance of plant stress. I hope that helps. HSA
