Default What am I looking at here?

Just went in to figure out if I should harvest my aero garden and saw this for the first time:

Is this spider mites? I have been rinsing for about a week and this is only appearing on the top colas of a few plants.

What should I do at this point? We were considering leaving the plants for a little while longer, as there are still mostly clear trichomes, but now I am not sure.

    thanks.

Vespa: I need to ask you: did you grow from seeds or purchased clones? One of my friends bought ten clones from a usually reliable source and they were crawling with spider mites. If you can see bugs with the naked eye you're infested. Most hydro stores have 30 to 40 power hand held pocket microscopes and now a days they're pretty much a must have tool. They're great for deciding when to harvest and examining and identifying pests.

Most hydro stores have a decent selection of organic insecticides like Rosenthal's that can be used on edible plants. Rasta Bob has a good compound and there are others. The really bad thing about bugs of any kind is that if you're growing for a collective it makes your crop unsellable.

When you're done bug bomb your grow area or you'll have them again on your next crop. Sadly, by the time you see them it's too late and the problem deserves strong action. I hope this helps. HSA
