hey guys
starting my own bubbleponics system i have just got a few questions that i could not figure out... 1. do you leave the air stones on 24/7. 2. do you turn on the water pump only a few times a day or do u leave it on all the time. do you let the roots grow all the way into the reservoir? if so do you still need the water pump to water the plants?

and where can i get rockwool and hydroton rocks can i get em at any store like lowes? or do i have to go to a nursery or something =)

hey man welcome to RUI. airstone is left on all the time yes. you can do a wide variation of hydro systems. for a bubbleponics system you use the waterpump only until the roots are in the water in the res. hydroton and rockwool you will onlyh find at a hydro store if you dont haveone in your area you can order online

how for bubbleponics how often do u feed/water ur plants a day or every other day??

Usually once a week when you change out the res, then add normal water throughout to top it off as it gets low..

as the person before me said every week you change the res. as your plants use the water (and fertilizer) you will need to add some more. so depending on the nutes you use you will have do do some math
