well this is a good question for all hydro gardens but if u look at the tray u have, the hole top part should pop out, so i would suggest getting a nice little tub 2 set the roots in plants into, then u can dump the res and fill it in the sink. then pop the plants back in, good luck man.

I had the same issue when I started. This thread should help you out a ton:

Better way to flush reservoir?

Cheers!

WEll ya you can pop off the top, but my way of trying not to disturb the plants as much by removing the top is i just bought a new gasoline syphon and i syphon out all the old water. Works pretty well for me and it sucks up most of the shit floatin around in the water

buy another container the same as what u growing in and just set lid and plant onto it and yall have 10 15 mins to get main container and add nutes then adjust ph and set ur lid and pot back into it and i only change mine once every 2 weeks weather the rez runs out or not if rez runs out just fill it again and top up as required any longer than 2 weeks and then the white algee crap starts to grow on ur roots, If ya have a ppm tester ull see even if u have to refill ur rez and check ur growing tank theres still loadsa food in it so theyll far from starve. And an idea im thinking of doing is getting a hose and running it from my tap to the extra container i have and setting it beside the grow tank and filling it there rather than haveing to lift it all the time then theres only the 1 tank that needs moved and if ya hold out till the plant drinks mosta the water its an easy lift or ya could get a water pump and a long as tube and run it into ur sink and pump the water thats left out which would make it even easyer. hope this helps
