They will just jack your seeds and send you a letter stating that they took them.

Default Master Gardener Kit and SuperThrive
I finally managed to find a Master Gardener Kit without ordering online.

(It was of course where I found everything else useful, the local hydroponic shop. If you're lucky enough to have one in your area, I HIGHLY recommend you drop in, and take a look around. Seems I learn something every time just by overhearing a conversation, if not by getting into one myself. Not to mention the shop has stacks on stacks of free reading material, Urban Garden Magazine(.com) as well as others, that just happens to be the one I enjoy the most.)

So it was everything I expected, packaged a little differently maybe.. The nute tabs came in long packing strips, opposed to the two zip-top bags I expected, large and small tabs, respectively. Also the grow sponges were not I expected to find. Instead I found brown plugs, looked similar to Rapid Rooter plugs, slightly thinner and more elongated than the RR plugs, but similar material. Not the gray, foamy sponge I had expected. (can post photos, if anyone is interested)

I also picked up a small bottle of SuperThrive for a side project I have going on right now. I'm testing my ability to "clone" I took some cuttings from a lantana bush out front, if you don't know what that looks like its a low lying, trailing annual. As well as one nearly on its last leg wildflower, which I actually managed to pull up roots and all.

For the lantana i trimmed backed some of the leaf, and shaved a top layer off exposing the inner, fibrous part of the stem, and it in half down the length about 1/4 - 1/2" in length. I left the roots attached to the wildflower, and placed them in a decorative vase filled halfway with water. I then added a few drops of the SuperThrive to encourage root development on the lantana as well strengthen those of the wildflower. (I did not measure, I poured the equivalent of a few drops, just a quick pour, if it works, AWESOME, if not, oh well... it was worth the experience) After adding the superthrive, I dropped one of the air stones I originally purchased for the AG tank, the 1" cylindrical shaped, in the vase and connected to the smaller of the two air pumps I own. This was to aerate the water, as the lower stems, and roots of the wildflower are completely submerged. If it begins to do anything interesting I may post some photos.

To sum it up... a question... Does the product SuperThrive have any place in the AG tank during germination... sprouting... seedling... duration of veg? I would like to use it as a root stimulator early on. Leave the AG pump off, as my air stones create a good, splashing almost DWC bubble like action. Your thoughts??

The seeds I'm after are the Lemon Skunk, White Widow, and White Rhino... All 3 strains caught my attention. Anyone have any words of wisdom about those, or the others?? Now to wait for the delivery... what's the worst that could happen ordering seeds this way to a non-medicinal state??

Naw man those are the sponges i have, i personally think they wor better then the gray ones. Thats what im currently using for my set up, just like rapid rooters, they work great. not too sure on the super thrive, gonna have to be like 1/4 strength, this other guys used some in his AG and fried his plants, its just a lil harder with the AG rez since its barely a gallon.

SWEET! so what is all this talk about cutting a slit into the grow sponges? is that in the end opposite the dot in the sponge for the seed? I figure thats for the taproot, right? I hate asking so many questions when i already figure i have the answer... but then what would be the point of this forum, without questions? Ah... a question about questions.... Pre-soak the sponges in pH'd water.. yes? Or load them in dry? and finally with a flute up his nose Ralph Wiggum

I'm hoping to grow as many as possible. (haha) The air stone hose takes up on pod site, so I'm left with six. I plan to fill all 6, and go to 12/12 2 weeks after sprouting, or as soon as i see large fan leaves. (possibly some LST along the way to make room) Everything I hear is 3 is the way to go in one AG, but since I don't plan to let grow very tall, I don't think this will be a concern? Thanks for dropping in and the comment. Seeds should be here in about a week, and then the fun begins!!
