I'm going to start flowering this week. My question is...My current schedule is from 7:30 am Lights ON to 1:30 am lights OFF. I want my 12/12 schedule to come ON at 9:00 PM and go OFF at 9:00 AM. What I was going to do to make this shift is to have them go off at 1:30am and then lights OFF for about 20 hours straight and then come on at 9:00 PM. So I'm asking will the increased amount of darkness to achieve my new schedule damage the plants? thanks

Not at all man. I've even read on some dutch seed company sites that you should give your plant a 36 hour dark period before you start flowering

Oh cool. thanks. I actually thought that I had read that same thing somewhere, but I wanted to make sure. Have you ever heard of turning the lights on during the OFF period for 1 hour? I 've read that somewhere that it make them "better", but that's for another thread.

Yeah man im not sure about the light on during the dark period. All I know is that cannabis plants are supposed to have 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness and any light during then can cause the plants to become hermies
