Question High Times LED GROW LIGHT

I've been doing a lot or research on these LED lights and came across an article in HighTimes.

They did a side by side grow:
1-HPS next to LED
2-MS next to LED
3-CFL next to LED

Although the type of LED they used at the time was 2nd Generation LED Tech, they said that LED's take 1 week longer to flower but yield 12% more bud!

My question is Has anyone tried the 3rd Generation triple light spectrum (blue white, red ), or any LED 's?

I'm going off to investigate, but it might save me time if you could mention the LED lamp(s) they used. It, well, sorta makes a difference. Check out my setup.

What's silly about the UFO? The new Illuminator has blue/red and orange. Supposed to better than the last version. I am interested in LED tech, especially because it's low wattage/energy use and that it runs cool. I leave my place sometime for several days and don't like the thought of hot HID/MH lamps.

There were a couple guys here in teh town I live in that had a whole house as a grow room and one of the HID lights fell and caught on fire and cops found everything

if I had the money to run LED's and knew I was gonna have the same results as with my current setup I was do it.
