how long is a good length of time befor using seeds straight from the bud fresh brand new seeds.

I have been told 4 weeks "cure" time. Thats what I use and so far I have 100% germ rate. Hope this helps you out.

so after harvesting seeds, you would let them cure in a dark, dry place for 4 weekds?

I just placed mine in a cool place untill I needed them. I also picked out the best looking seeds and shit canned the rest. I probably got 300 "hand picked" seeds. You can tell the developed seeds from the under-developed. I am sure someone will chime in about the "cure" time for seeds. I was told 4 weeks and so far, it's worked out for me. Good luck.

camaro you tell em, 300 seeds. thats nice to know cuz i was planing on getting a couple strains & was thinking of producing my own seeds to once againg "cut out the middleman" !

I live in the U.S and it is getting harder and harder to get seeds with good genetics. I know it's different from place to place but I see things getting worse before it gets better. Anyway, I decided back in the spring I would try to make some seeds. I took my best Smokey Mountain Haze female and a Smokey Mountain Haze male and let them do their thing. Several weeks later I had several hundred seeds. I highly reccomend others to make their own seeds.

Next spring I plan on doing this with AK47 and White Widow.
